Terrible experience. Stay far away from these types of companies. I have experienced legal threatening, breaking of consumer protection Act, spam messages and emails and unfair business practices. I have been charged for a service I have not received, nor signed up for. They don't reply to my emails, and cannot show me proof of my service usage because it does not exist. They will try to remove this review as they always do. Disgusting!!

I signed up for a Webafrica package for R999 p/m, I got charged R1349 2 days ago and from now onwards. Webafrica has not notified me of any changes and increases in prices occurring. They are not transparent with their customers and have not practiced good business practices towards me, the consumer. The Internet has been disconnecting often and hasn't been loading Youtube effectively. I would like to notify consumers that Webafrica is sneaky and makes use of trickery through promotions to gain customers. Once you signed the 12 month contract you're stuck with a fraudulent company that makes use of deceptive promotions and will just increase prices as they like without notification. Chris
Would not recommend Home-Connect!!! Stay far away, rather go with Webafrica or a more established and professional ISP. My previous review got deleted, thus I shall not go in-depth in this one. Says a lot about their company 👀
Home-Connect Scammers!! Terrible experience, I ended my contract with Dashfibre in October (1 months notice) telephonically, I called again the following day to double check it was cancelled which indeed it was. I move houses and get a new line from a trustworthy company like WEBAFRICA, while receiving messages of outstanding invoices( R1800) from some new unknown company (Home-Connect) thinking they're trying to scam me. Now they're bombarding me with messages, calls and emails for a line that I've cancelled, don't live there nor have i used the line once. Absolute scammers and fraudsters. I told them to cancel the line 3 times this month alone, I called today to find out its still not cancelled!!! They even tracked my line and said it has not been used, imagine! Stay VERY far away from Home-Connect!!! Highly do not recommend, much better off with a more established company like Afrihost or Webafrica 👍
Terrible contacting system through Whatsapp, nothing gets attended professionally and you wait for hours trying to get in touch. Absolutely terrible service and contacting system. You cannot even get hold of the company through a call, shocking. Its not the agents fault, its the Webafrica company as a whole! Everything delayed and non-responsive. Would not recommend
My installation is taking weeeeks on end! Always an excuse and slow replies. I still am not connected on an installation that already has an active line & would take no longer than 10 minutes. Would not recommend, better off going with Openserve 👍
Weelee is professional and practical. They sold my car directly to a dealer, where Jacque Boshof on behalf of Mit Mak Motors assisted me in selling my car! Very EASY and useful!!
