Further to previous reviews regarding our purchase experience with City Wheels. The case is now with Miosa and the response from the seller is as follows. 1.we(the customer) are unreasonable for expecting speedy service and waiting 4 months for parts is normal. 2. Paying for a car and related insurance for 3 months without actually having a car is fine with me them. 3. Lying to Miosa about parts availability when quick research located the parts in question within 50km radius of where the car is "waiting for parts" 4 claiming that there are no new replacement parts for the car in country and be available within the 4 months we have been waiting(a 5 min visit to a Ford dealership parts department confirmed that a replacement part can be shipped and be available within 20 working days). This is not honest business practice that is customer centred. They are repeatedly making use of the same back ally service centre that potentially caused massive long-term mechanical damage by making use of the incorrect service parts and consumables in the first place. DO NOT SUPPORT CITY WHEELS
Purchased car in September 2021 from city wheels. In 120 +/- days the car been with city wheels for half of that period. The team do not seem to be scared of any recourse or seem too bothered to provide after sales service l
Purchased a vehicle from City Wheels with the promise that the car is in good working order. After a few days of ownership it became clear that the car was neither in working order or road worthy. It has been months since taking ownership with City wheels failing to repair or fulfil their promises made to have the car repaired. Lying about work that was done or doing sub par repairs. Do not under any circumstances make use of this business or the supposed technical department as this will result in disappointment and loss of money.
