Good day In November 2021 my father and I purchased a Hyundai i20 from your dealership. After a month of driving, we noticed bubbles appearing on the roof after which we determined that it was in fact the paint lifting and eventually, it peeled off. Soon after, we noticed more and more paint peeling off on various areas on the car. Now, it seems as though the boot's paint will soon be peeled off due to a large part of the paint already lifted. My father advised that he contacted your office only to be told that when a car leaves the showroom, they're not responsible for any defects, etc. I mean, how on earth could we have known that the paint would automatically peel off a month after purchase, how could we even see it whilst inspecting the vehicle. Furthermore, isn't the car still under warranty? Surely the warranty must cover the paint peeling? Surely no sane person would buy a car only to have to redo the entire paint job a few months after purchase! Please advise! Thank you. Jacques Arendse
So disappointed in having to beg for my own money. Shelley Havenga is the lady who assisted us with making a booking. We had to pay a breakage deposit of which they would pay back 15 days after your booking date. To date, following numerous texts, etc. We are yet to receive our deposit back. I would have really loved to make use of their services again in the future however, I will never again. I would also not recommend that anyone makes use of their services unless you have enough money to give away. My only other option now is to contact an attorney. Are there perhaps any alternative in trying to recover the money from Cape Coastal Accommodation?
