La rocca
On Thursday 29 Feb, myself and a few colleagues went to LA Rocca canal walk to bud farewell to a colleague. The service was pathetic, firstly we stood at the entrance for about 10 minutes before we decided to walk into the restaurant ourselves due to no one coming to assist us. Then we waited 5 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge our presence and bring us a menu, we then called her to take our order, we ordered our food and drinks, she brought the drinks 30 minutes later, our starters came 45 minutes after we ordered it and the main meal took 1h45mins. We were so disappointed when we received the main meal, everyone opted for their burgers as the reviews were decent, however, it was by far the worst burger I have had, I could have made it at home and saved so much money, it is nothing like the pictures on their website. It's on a normal bun, with a slice of cheese, the burger pattie was burnt and very dry, an unusual thick slice of tomato and I'm sure they put the entire lettuce on my burger. I will not recommend La rocca canal walk to anyone, the food is disappointing and the service is pathetic, barr in mind the restaurant was not busy at all.
