AMAZON.CO.ZA So like many others here in South Africa I was excited to try Amazon when they opened up here in May. On June 17 I placed an order for 7 items and waited for my goodies to arrive. All the items arrived quite timelessly but the main item was delayed. They kept me informed by sending me a mail every week letting me know it was still out of stock and then on AUGUST 8th they sent me a mail telling me they were cancelling the order as …We have cancelled your order as we were unable to get it in-stock in a timely manner. We will issue a refund to your original payment method within 5-7 business days. Well timely manner from June 17th to August 8th is not exactly what I’d call timely and now I have to go looking for this item after waiting over seven weeks after paying for it. So think before you order from Amazon.co.za they sell things online that they don’t have and apparently can not get. I invite Amazon to reply #408-3904243-0561918.
Dec 30th 2022. We had a terrible evening before arriving here at Seaside Village at 7:30. Hanna was our waitress and provided us with a fantastic evening which was matched by the pizza's we had. Super night Thank you Hannah.
After arriving just before 6pm on the 30th we managed to get a table which was great. At 5:55 we ordered two margaritas and at 6:15 we then decided to order a jug of the "top shelf" frozen drink. At this time we also ordered starters and mains as we could see it was busy. At 7:15 NOTHING had arrived not even the drinks we caught our waitress and asked when it would be ready and she said she was sorry as she had some personal things she had to take care of and had just then put our order in. Lets talk about personal issues we care for my wifes terminally sick mother who has a brain tumor and the only reason we could go out is because her sister was here for the holidays to see her mother for the last time. This was our night to have a good meal and we loved going to Justin at Remex in Parklands. We walked out after the waitress had the cheek to ask my wife for a tip when she paid full price for our two drinks which were ordered during "Happy Hour" Luckily Colcachios at seaside village saved the day.
Deon was the name of the technitian that came to help us and he was a true proffesional. They sorted out my DSTV and he wouldnt leave untill everything was working. Top notch will use again without hesitation.
Since making a order on January 20th and receiving a reply on January 21st that the item was out of stock i have sent the banking details for the refund that i paid to them on the 20th but to this day have received not even a reply from them regarding my money. Please be aware that when your money is paid to them they seem to stop caring about any standard of service or product delivery, at least in this case of some others i have read online.
First time I went there and was so blown away with the service Gillian gave my mother and I cannot say how much it meant to us. In a country where service seems to take a back seat they couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend you pay them a visit sure you will not be disappointed.
January 20th made an order from this site. Money was taken straight away and the next day I received the “out of stock” Refund email I have seen on other comments. So I sent my details and have since sent numerous email enquiring but they don’t even bother to reply. There has been no refund to this date I personally I think this is just a scam site. The phone number just continuously plays a message no one EVER answers you. BUYER BEWARNED THIS SITE IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR MONEY AGAIN.
