Fat Cactus - Eden on the Bay
After arriving just before 6pm on the 30th we managed to get a table which was great. At 5:55 we ordered two margaritas and at 6:15 we then decided to order a jug of the "top shelf" frozen drink. At this time we also ordered starters and mains as we could see it was busy. At 7:15 NOTHING had arrived not even the drinks we caught our waitress and asked when it would be ready and she said she was sorry as she had some personal things she had to take care of and had just then put our order in. Lets talk about personal issues we care for my wifes terminally sick mother who has a brain tumor and the only reason we could go out is because her sister was here for the holidays to see her mother for the last time. This was our night to have a good meal and we loved going to Justin at Remex in Parklands. We walked out after the waitress had the cheek to ask my wife for a tip when she paid full price for our two drinks which were ordered during "Happy Hour" Luckily Colcachios at seaside village saved the day.

Ordered the chicken and waffles to day but it tasted more like onion rings and waffles... 8 tiny thin chicken strips and a bucket of onions... The recipe should definitely be tweaked... Because the waffles were amazing and the onion rings were good but the chicken were so disappointing I thought that I'll get lots of juicy tender chicken but, unfortunately that wasn't the case... Please reconsider the portion of chicken because I love the restaurant it is such a good vibe

Fat Catus Mowbray is not the one!!!
What a disappointment. Burnt waffles. Never had any of the crucial menu items in stock ie: guac, chicken filets. Waiters are friendly and extremely apologetic regarding the lack of items. The owners have to seriously get their act together. If you're looking for anything tex mex, this is not the PLACE. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE.

What a disappointment. Burnt waffles. Never had any of the crucial menu items in stock ie: guac, chicken filets. Waiters are friendly and extremely apologetic regarding the lack of items. The owners have to seriously get their act together. If you're looking for anything tex mex, this is not the PLACE. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE.
