This is the worst expierance that i have ever had in my life. First my car was insured with Cross Country insurance and when i was in an accident they informed me that they will pay my premiums back but will not cover the damage on the car. After that i had a breaking in my house in september and after emailing Cross Country almost every day there were no feedback at all. it is January now and my claim is stll not sorted out. These are a bunch of ******, they pay assessors to fill I half a report to not pay out the full damage to my property. I would strongly advise people in South Africa NOT to use this insurance company. Staff is very short tempered and rude and they will ***** every cent you have without remorse.
I was involved in an accident, I have followed all necessary steps and followed all the steps, I have waited 3 weeks for PMD to come back to me after numerous phone calls and got my car in a workshop to get repaired. after 2 weeks I drove to the workshop to find out there there is no communication from PMD and that they can not proceed with fixing my car until then, yet again after a lot of phone calls, they informed me that they will only offer me R9000 and that I have to fix my car myself and send then proof, after being informed that the damage of my car is over R50 000. My vehicle is my source of income and I am on the verge of losing my income due to this as well. My family has been saving up for a holiday and that is also hanging in the balance as well. Why do we have insurance like PMD that keeps taking your money monthly but robbing their own loyal clients blind, I would advise any and all car dealerships, personal people looking for can insurance to stay very far away from PMD.
