I got a locum in December 2021 via JC Medical Staffing for 3 weeks. The rate was set to be R575 per hour. I spent time away from my family during the festive season. Garth Manuel (JC Medical Staffing) demanded an upfront payment from the client but at the end failed to pay all my money!!!!! After disappearing, completely unreachable he only paid me at a rate of R500 per hour without ANY explanation!!! It has also come to my attention that many Doctors have been left unpaid by this Agency. Some since 2018! This is robbery and exploitation of SA's scarce skills. I am seeking legal advice and filing a report to SAMA and HPCSA. Enough is enough!!!!
