Excuses and empty promises
We made use of JC Medical Staffing and they provided us with a doctor. They requested full payment up front which we did as we got a discount. The doctor came, worked and then got sick to which the doctor did not work the agreed upon hours that we paid in advance. It has been two years with no refund for the hours not worked but paid. They have made payment agreements without honouring them and every time there are more and new excuses. I would not recommend them to fulfil your medical staffing needs.

I paid in advance for the services of a locum which JC consulting was supposed to provide me with in August 2023. At the last minute JC consulting changed the doctor that we agreed upon. The company has made multiple and repeated promises to pay back the money they owe me BUT THE HAVE FAILED TO ORDER THEIR PROMISE. I would advise anyone to tread very very cautiously when dealing or interacting with this company.

Rogue Agency
Garth Manuel the senior recruitment consultant is a rogue PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE FIRM. I prepaid Garth in advance for a locum for a Saturday in August 2023 he then failed to deliver the locum that was agreed upon and thereafter after repeated promises to transfer the money back into my account - up to now I am still waiting for the payment.

This agency, run by Garth Manuel, is a *****ulent business. Garth has the following modus operandi: he will book a doctor for a session, and demand his commission and the doctors fee upfront. When it comes to payment of the locum doctor (his employee, basically), he will make excuses, pay in piecemeal amounts and in my case just not pay at all. He also offers or advertises rates above what the practice owners are willing to pay, because he does not intend on paying the doctors who do the work.

Scam artists
Do NOT do any business with them. Garth Manuel is a scam artist and will not pay for work done. Apparently there is another name they go by: Manuel Medical Solutions. Be warned doctors- they do NOT pay and cannot be trusted.

NO SERVICE from Garth and JC Medical Staffing
Paid for a locum doctor for 2 weeks, no show. Also cannot get hold of Garth or anyone at JC Medical staffing to sort this out. Stealing our money? Very upset.

I got a locum in December 2021 via JC Medical Staffing for 3 weeks. The rate was set to be R575 per hour. I spent time away from my family during the festive season. Garth Manuel (JC Medical Staffing) demanded an upfront payment from the client but at the end failed to pay all my money!!!!! After disappearing, completely unreachable he only paid me at a rate of R500 per hour without ANY explanation!!! It has also come to my attention that many Doctors have been left unpaid by this Agency. Some since 2018! This is robbery and exploitation of SA's scarce skills. I am seeking legal advice and filing a report to SAMA and HPCSA. Enough is enough!!!!
