I am utterly appaled by my overall experience. When I signed up late Nov 2023, it took over 2 weeks for them to come and install. That was also after numerous calls and emails requesting their service. When I had requested that they cancel the service, they jumped on their feet and got people to install. I was then billed for Dec and Jan and paid diligently via EFT on the 25th Jan. After that, they debited my account with the same amount. They informed me that it'll take 10 business days for refund to reflect. I called this week and they assured me that money will reflect on the 9th Feb. Waited whole day. Called whole day with no resolution. When I check my emails, they have now debited me for Feb premium without refunding me what was due. They committed to calling me back to resolve but did not. Now I am informed that the Finance dept will only be in on Monday, 12 Feb. And still I am here, unrefunded and broke.
I'd like to rate service of Mahomed. He came to install my wifi after 2 weeks of waiting. He arrived very early today and did the installation so swiftly and with a super friendly service. He was done within 30mins and expedited the activation of the wifi network for me, because it had been such a long wait for me. Appreciate the service and all other tricks to getting super service if I encounter any issues. Loved the kindness, thoughtfulness and superb service. Thank you Mohamed.
I sent my car for service in Jan 2023 at CMH Opel in Cornubia, Durban. And the consultant that worked there reported that they accidently dented my car, at the back, during the service. He committed to calling me the following week to plan around getting panelbeaters to fix the dent. I was out of Durban for a long time, for business, and until I returned (June 2023) no feedback was provided. I personally went there to enquire about an a new issue on the car and then also asked about them fixing the dent. They advised that they have no recollection of this dent issue and the consultant, who I dealt with in Jan, had since left. In June, they advised that they would investigate and get back to me but nothing. I followed up yesterday, 07 August and still there was no resolution or investigation conducted. The new consultant stated that I speak to the Service Manager but he/ she was busy at the time of my call. I was asked to leave a message and they would get back to me. I have still not heard from them. I am deeply disappointed in Opel around this and their lack of accountability and responsibility. I asked them to check on my Car notes for the service done in Jan, but they state that nothing was there. I also asked them to contact the former consultant but they advised that they couldn't. I am now left hopeless in fixing this. I think, 2 days after my service in Jan, I got a call to rate my experience and I informed those people of the dent on my car but till today, 08 August, my car is still not fixed. Please assist urgently.
I was high jacked on 15 Oct and my drivers license was taken. I went to this testing ground to renew my license lon 18 Oct and they said I can only be assisted on 29 and 30 Oct. I should also arrive from 3am because it gets very full and only 40 people are seen. I asked what I should do in the interim since I am a driver and without a license and they said I can bribe a consultant who can do things for me on the same day. This is such bad corruption for a govt institution. I am trying to be a law abiding citizen but I am forced to, in a way, break the law. This is unacceptable and the dates advised do not make sense. Why are there no vacancies in this place if one cannot be assisted during the month and only 80 people can be seen on 1 weekend. This is utter bull! It is sad that the very country that stipulates laws does not make things simpler for its citizens.
I was high jacked on the 15th Oct 2022 and all my personal belongings were stolen, including my cellphone and smart ID. I have a cellphone contract with Telkom. On the 17th Oct 2022 I went to the Telkom branch at Berea Centre, Durban, KZN, around 14h30 and they told me I couldnt be assisted because I don't have an original ID. I told them this was stolen and only have a temporary ID, affidavit and case number but still they were adamant they couldn't assist me. The consultant went on to say the system wasn't working and I should arrive before 11am. Today, 18 Oct 2022, I arrive at 10h00 with my old green ID book and they tell me that the system is not working. I should come back at 14h00. I am utterly appauled at this poor service, especially since verifications and OTPs use this old number that I want to switch back to. I am disgusted at the refusal to assist a customer at a critical time of need, due to nonsensical policies. It simply does not make sense when people have real cases with evidence and exceptions cannot be made!
Tumelo Ramashala provided an excellent service to me. He was very friendly and helpful and assisted with my car assessment successfully. He was also very clear and made me understand things easily.
