We are sitting with out electricity. Ordered pizza from Delfino from Uber eats. There was a buy one get one free. On delivery we were told it is for new customers only so we only received one of each of the two pizzas we ordered. No where on the website did it specify that it is for new customers only (which I am) I have never ordered from them before and as said it did not say anywhere for new customers only. We are now sitting with two kids still hungry as we did not receive enough food as anticipated. VERY DISSATISFIED WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN
Afternoon I am so disappointed and stressed out and left with no other option than to revert to a platform like this.... I went into agreement with Planet 42 6months back from the Menlyn branch in Pretoria. The black Ford fiesta i took was said to have a working aircon (that lasted 1 and a half weeks). I re-gassed only to find out it is the compressor. RMI dealership told me it will cost me between R7000 and R9000 to fix. The other reason and most important reason, the car was at the dealership for is for loss of oil and water. There are no cracks or leaks but yet i have to put a pint or two every two to three days of oil. The water loss was so bad that i eventually had to fill two to three times a day. The dealer ship told me that there is nothing wrong just old engine and bound to happen. It took a petrol attendant to inform me that my oil and water is mixing and probably the head gasket and is a serious problem. Thursday 7 March 2024 it finally gave in. The engine cut our on the highway and left me with no breaks nor steer on the wheel while driving at 110km. Luckily for me and everyone around me it kicked in again and managed to nurse it back to the office (the engine cut out two more times before i reached the office.) I drove it back home that afternoon (broke down twice and starts up again 20 min later) i refuse to drive it again and left it standing at home that next day and the entire weekend) The Tuesday 12 March I took it in to Bosch at Fourways who confirmed after a proper dynastic that it is indeed the head gasket cylinder. Warranties for Planet 42 confirmed (after i had to follow up day after day) that it is not economically viable to fix the car. We are now nearly 3 weeks down the line of the breakdown. The Ford still has not been collected and booked into the system to cancel this agreement to allow me to enter into a new agreement for a different car (that i have to re-apply for and pay a deposit once again). Also, my debit order for this month has already gone off prior to the 27th for a car i do not have and did not have for the last two months of last month, that i paid for too. i did request a refund, that they agreed too, but still do not have the funds. For the last nearly 3 weeks i had to Uber. I am a broker that travels from Fourways to Rivonia (my office) to Modderfontein, Edenvale, Bedfordview and Bruma to service my area.. It has cost me just over R4000 for the Ubers to try and manage my day to day duties (lets not even go to the extent i had to, to try and get my kid around) I am loosing income, in trouble at work because i can not do my daily duties as i should and now also out of pocket paying for Ubers while Planet 42 is sitting with my car rental for the vehicle i do not have. FRUSTRATION AND STRESSED IS A UNDERSTATEMENT. The lack of response, keeping a person up to date of what is happening (via mail, phone, anything is shocking)
