Been dealing with SuperComm for years. They are efficient, friendly, and their laptops have worked well. I've ordered my next laptop now. I also asked them for advice on a laptop for my wife, and they came up trumps. Importantly, I am an analyst who researches and writes on business tech. And I am saddened by the mismatch between technology, processes, service, and marketing. It's like everyone works in silos. Not so for SuperComm. I asked a question of the SuperComm chatbot, but then found the answer myself. However, after I had placed the order, SuperComm phoned me to check that my question was answered. (Thank you Margot).
Vumatel provide a service for which they are paid. All good so far. But if the service is rubbish because of the sub-contractors they appoint, then they must take responsibility. I asked for a reinstall of my on-site fibre, and they appointed Nano Fibre (another no-star) company. A month later no reinstall, and I've asked for my money back. How Vumatel thinks this is just between me and Nano Fibre, I don't know. It's a Vumatel service.
This is as much about Vumatel as Nano Fibre. If Vumatel are going to appoint a sub-contractor then Vumatel must take responsibility for their choice. All of the other reviews tell how bad Nano Fibre is. I don't know how they stay in business. They owe me money for work paid for but never done. Stay away from Nano Fibre, and put pressure on Vumatel to get their act together.
