International Transaction Fee (for local establishments)
Be very aware of this website. Some of the establishments (even if they are local in south Africa) your bank will charge an international transaction fee for the payment made online, Bookings.com for some establishments take the money on their behalf and the account is in Nederland. The website does not warn you of this.

Booking.com international transaction fee
I am south African and have a south African credit card. When I book for stay at a south African establishment the bank charged an international transaction fee. I was not able to resolve the reason with either my bank bookings web site or the establishment. The web site does not warn people of this.

The SOOQ Online
Ordered online, waited for a week with no response. I queried using two email address, and eventually got a response a few days later (thank God). They asked for my delivery address (even thou it was given on the web page during purchase). However, once it was given the order was dispatched the same day, reference number given, and delivered the next. As of today, their web page appears not available???
