The worst insurance ever! I was involved in a collision and hit the pavement avoiding a truck with timber that was falling.. my claim has been rejected under the false illusion that I was speeding, however that’s a total lie that can not be proven I asked the assessor how did he come to that conclusion and couldn’t get an accurate answer. This is after it took weeks on end when they kept saying they investigated. This was a racial profiling that was done by the assessor due to the type of vehicle I drive and the assumptions made. I have queried numerous time that they prove that I was speeding as it is a 60km zone and of cause I swerved because of the timber that was falling off and the road is a busy road there’s absolutely impossible to speed as it not an open road that isn’t busy. I have received no joy with my claim, if you a black person driving a sport vehicle do not insure your vehicle with Old Mutual, they will racial profile you and make false assessments that they can’t even prove.
I made a booking and cancelled within the given time, refund was to be done within 3-10 days, it’s day 14 and I haven’t received my refund and they not responding to the emails and any form of communication.
2023 I paid for Blinds, Curtains and 2 wavy tracks, I ended up taking 1 wavy track and I was uncertain with the 2nd curtain material. I was advised that the 2nd wavy track credit would be kept as credit until I decided the fabric of the curtains, I later advised that I would rather take shutter doors, they didn’t want to credit me for the way track after a lot of recalling they admitted that there was a credit but however the shutter amount was still high, I therefore requested a refund and hour later after confirming I had credit they stated I no longer have credit and it’s a mistake. However they had confirmed there was credit and didn’t want to refund me. Curtain master in morning side is a ****, Brian is a ****!!

The lodge cancelled my booking after settling payment, rewards agreed that the lodge would make a refund and everyday they would lie and say refund will be processed and never was done. They stopped responding to my emails and Ingrid their General Manager hung up the phone, when I advised her that it was rude of her to do that she sent a message stating that I will be hearing from her lawyers yet my refund wasn’t done. She said the owner didn’t have wifi and that’s why refund wasn’t done. There’s no alternative person to contact, when i asked for owners email address or contact she told me she wasn’t going to give me the details!
I am utterly disappointed and disgusted with your service, I made a payment on the 29 May, it received email confirming my order. Today I contact the call center to query why I haven’t received delivery information and I’m being told that my payment isn’t there! How care to explain? Why would I have received an email confirming order being processed if payment wasn’t made? Now I’m expected to do a run around at banks looking for pdf payment since a statement wont be accepted to prove payment purchase. Your call center is of no help as they stating they will be escalating? How when they literally the same team/store? This is now of an in inconvenience to me and it’s proving to be difficult for you to resolve it! I’m honestly never ever buying from you again! I need this bed delivered no later than tomorrow the service is appalling!
The worst insurance, cancelled the insurance before bill date, they still debited after I queried they stated they needed a month notice, how when they charge pro-rata and it’s a pay upfront insurance. They definitely a scam. When I cancelled no one told me about a month notice but immediate cancellation, when I want a refund I’m told about a month application to cancel. Yet my policy is cancelled which means I’m not covered but paid. Utter rubbish
I requested that my car tracker is reinstalled properly in April 2021 as it was visible, a technician wasn’t sent through, I further requested that my service are cancelled in April 2021. This was not done however they kept billing me. I kept calling throughout 2021 and 2022 requesting that the error is fixed, consultants never reverted to me with a solution. They have since blacklisted me which has resulted to me losing finance for a property. I contacted the Umhlanga branch last week and the manager advised that it would be sorted and get a senior person to contact me as they could see my efforts to get the services cancelled. I have not heard from the Umhlanga branch manager let alone the finance department or customer service. I have lost so much over they incompetence
