I bought a Cubot x50 phone for over R5000. The phone was definitely not worth that amount due to what it offered. Furthermore, the phone stopped working within a year. Ive been to all phone repair stores in JHB, Pretoria and Durban, none of them can fix it. I contacted Smartphone Shop and advised them, they have ignored me to date.

After being in contact with Rain on numerous occasions in April 2022 regarding them charging me for services I did not use, they insisted that I should submit a cancellation which I did submit. Rain has however decided to debit my account again even after I submitted the cancellation. The numerous consultants I have spoken to from Rain all agree that that there is zero usage. Why is Rain still debiting my account. Worse they even debit my account when I have no funds which has created a huge amount of bank charges for failed debit orders !!!!!What else must one do to prevent the theft that Rain is doing ?????
I had problems with my rain sim card since December 2021, it was not connecting and it gave an error message ' sim error' . I made contact with rain to inform them about this. Whilst waiting for assistance I lost that sim card as I was trying it in order devices to check if works in other devices. Informed rain about this. Rain has however been debiting my account but I have not been using the sim card since December. I have made contact with over 6 people with regards to getting a refund whom some advised that my query has been forwarded to finance. I believe Rains calls are recorded so they can check up on this. Today 1/04/2022 after waiting for an over 15 minutes for my call to answered, the lady who answered Wendy says there is no communication of my refund on their system. She said she will speak her manager about my query and escalate it to the relevant department. I requested for her to cc me on the communication so that I would know what happening. It's 17:42 now and I have not received correspondence. Wendy advised that I cancel my account so that it won't be debited, she asked me to login in to may rain profile so that she can take me through on the steps, however Rains page was down. Tried numerious times to get in the website. Before Wendy I had called and spoken to Sibongile if I'm not mistaken ( but Rains calls are recorded, they can confirm) she could assist me as she said the s to system was down and she was going to call me back. I need my money. I did not use your services since December. Please pay me back my money.
