Perjury, theft, lies
Please do not use this company. Rodney, a PI will take your money (R32000 in my case), he will try to sell you phone taps at R5000, convince you your phone is bugged then charge you R1800 to un bug it. He charges R3500 per day for surveillance and then he will fail to give you reports. For which you paid. He will threaten you. As he did to me. And further he breaches confidentiality agreements and sells your confidential information to others. Even lies about what he has discovered. I have opened a case of theft and purgery against him. Iss Investigations is a no no no. I now have an interim protection order against me due to the lies he told. I intend to sue this firm.

Hello Peter / PSiRA / Bark Good day sirs, I got several PI’s contact me from your website which I registered on in March 2024. One of the Companies that contacted me was ISS Investigations. They made me promises and even sent me a list of what they would do for me, which I have attached. Long story cut short. They originally quoted me R 12 000 on 21 March 2023. I advised, I thought they were under quoting for what I required. They revised their quote accordingly to R 18 200,00. This was to include: 1. Surveillance, Information gathering, photo’s video, court ready report, Asist with full custody of minor child and protection order to stop further abuse. 2. Background check, ******** record report, credit checks and asset check. Rodney advised that he had witnessed this girl buying drugs from a Nigerian in blue polo, she was constantly on her phone and suggested we bug it at a cost of R 5000. A list of all the “perks” of doing this is attached. He must have been in Durban as he was able to tell me that her boyfriend drove an audi and they went to a house party and The Oyster Box for lunch. He then suggested an extra 2 days surveillance at a cost of R 4 000 which I paid on 15 March 2023. He advised my phone was bugged – a further R 1 800 paid by me to “debug” my phone. I was fed stories about the spyware and when it would be ready, the medical docs that had finally arrived and he could now submit a full report and advised the report would come from his personal gmail account as his work server was “being upgraded”. That was on Thursday 28 March 2024. Then he started not responding to my messages, but I know he read them as I could see under info on WhatsApp that they had been delivered and read. I am in a very difficult situation now as I have an almost 2-year-old grandchild, who we have never met, being raised in unsavoury conditions. They drive drunk with the child in the car, owe people money all over town, the child is being dragged from pillar to post and the grandmother drives without a license with my grandchild in the car. This girl has opened 7 false charges against myself and my son, she stalks him at work although SHE is in possession of a protection order (yet she breaches her own protection order), she has had us both arrested, my son beaten by the police at his place of work (he is disabled and works with a company under their disability programme), 42 court appearances with all charges having been dropped due to lack of evidence. She has tried to get me suspended from The SA Tax institute (I am a tax practitioner) and the PPRA (Also an estate agent), by opening false charges against me so I get a ******** charge and won’t be able to work. I found out on Thursday that SAIT (my governing body for the tax practitioners association) is now investigating me IRO any ******** charges I may have against my name. It’s been almost 3 years of hell and cost R 440 0000 in the legal fees to keep our good names and prevent her lies from costing myself and my son our jobs. I need to save my grandchild. I have now been ********** by this company, and a year ago was taken for R 35 000 by Brad Nathanson Investigations. I am tired of being taken for a ride. It needs to be noted that this company is *****ulent and *****s for helpless, needy people like myself. Your site recommended him – please can you assist me in getting : 1. Either my money back, or ideally 2. The report he promised me and for which I paid. Thank you kindly, Note: After this post was sent to you, Rodney threatened me that if I did not remove the post that he would hand the information he had uncovered to Ms Ferreira (the girl I hired him to protect us from). Now he has resorted to threatening me and breaking my confidence in him and his company, with *********. Well, it’s been a week now and neither the PI or I have received any of the items which I paid for above. He promised I would have the information by 6PM 0n 5 April – to no avail. In Rodney’s need for revenge, he even CC’d Brad Nathanson into this email. Although Brad Nathanson did take my money, and did fail to provide me with any information, in the interests of my son’s safety, I agreed with Brad to accept a R 15 000 refund (He kept R 20 000) and leave it at that. Brad in fact did assist me when we were ******ed for R10 000 by “policemen” who threatened to arrest my son for the **** and Assault of a ********** in Cape Town. These ********s Brad discovered were ****mers and had confused Sunningdale in Cape Town for Sunningdale in Durban North hence the Cape Town reference. I did get R 7000 odd back from Tyme Bank. This was thanks to Brad’s assistance. But, Rodney once again showed his true colours by CCing Brad into this altercation. The Normal Procedure would have been to call us. You have all our numbers. But it seems like you were out to challenge us. And what we have been through at the hands of this pycho girl – but you would know this if in fact you did have her medical history, which you said you did, you will see that she was in an institution – and you want to help her to bury my disabled son by telling her I hired you to keep my son and grandchild safe????? When she does come for my son, and she will, when he is harmed by her Rodney, his blood will be on your hands. And when my grandchild is harmed by their lifestyle, Rodney, that too will be on you. You want to contact her and give her this information that I paid you for to keep MY FAMILY safe – that’s nice! I am placing this on record so that when she does come for my son and my family, and trust me she will, you will all be aware that it was ISS Investigations (Rodney) who has blood on his hands. Yes, Rodney, Happy easter! I would humbly ask for your assistance in this matter from someone who is now threatening me and insinuating I am “sick”, and more insultingly “stupid”. Clearly, I was stupid to put my trust in him. I look forward to your assistance as this man had me pay for a phone tapping device which I now find out is in fact *******, where he assured me it was legal if done for the right reasons!!!!! He is like a wild gun waiting for a place to explode. I would also seek some form of assurance that this man will not share the investigation report with the subject nor come after myself or my family to seek revenge. I feel he is capable of this. I am very afraid after his threats. He did explain to my friend, also a PI, that I would get my report by 5 April 6PM. And he would refund me the R 5000 he billed me for the phone tap, since it is *******. This has amounted to nought. This man, Rodney, is not honest, he has a very hot headed attitude and the way he treats his clients is shocking. Can you assist me with this matter please. Kind regards

Typical though., @team@bark.com – is this really the action you condone – ******ion, threats and treating people this way? WOW! You really should screen your recommended PI’s a bit more thoroughly. I am placing this on record so that when she does come for my son and my family, and trust me she will, you will all be aware that it was ISS Investigations (Rodney) who has blood on his hands. Yes, Rodney, Happy easter! I would humbly ask for your assistance in this matter from someone who is now threatening me and insinuating I am “sick”, and more insultingly “stupid”. Clearly, I was stupid to put my trust in him. I look forward to your assistance as this man had me pay for a phone tapping device which I now find out is in fact *******, where he assured me it was legal if done for the right reasons!!!!! He is like a wild gun waiting for a place to explode. I would also seek some form of assurance that this man will not share the investigation report with the subject nor come after myself or my family to seek revenge. I feel he is capable of this. I am very afraid after his threats. He did explain to my friend, also a PI, that I would get my report by 5 April 6PM. And he would refund me the R 5000 he billed me for the phone tap, since it is *******. This has amounted to nought. This man, Rodney, is not honest, he has a very hot-headed attitude and the way he treats his clients is shocking. Can you assist me with this matter please. I mean if he had done the job, as he said he did, why not just send me the report instead of lying about it. Dishonest Private Investigators
I got several PI’s contact me from BARK website which I registered on in March 2024. One of the Companies that contacted me was ISS Investigations Imbewu Security. They made me promises and even sent me a list of what they would do for me. Long story cut short. They originally quoted me R 12 000 on 21 March 2023. I advised, I thought they were under quoting for what I required. They revised their quote accordingly to R 18 200,00. This was to include : 1. Surveillance, Information gathering, photo’s video, court ready report, Asist with full custody of minor child and protection order to stop further abuse and medical background check. 2. Background check, ******** record report, credit checks and asset check. Rodney advised that he had witnessed this girl buying drugs from a Nigerian in blue polo, she was constantly on her phone and suggested we bug it at a cost of R 5000. A list of all the “perks” of doing this is attached. He must have been in Durban as he was able to tell me that her boyfriend drove an audi and where they went and what they did over the 3 days surveillance. He then suggested an extra 2 days surveillance at a cost of R 4 000 which I paid on 15 March 2023. He advised my phone was bugged – a further R 1 800 paid by me to “debug” my phone. I was fed stories about the spyware and when it would be ready, the medical docs that had finally arrived and he could now submit a full report and advised the report would come from his personal gmail account as his work server was “being upgraded”. That was on Thursday 28 March 2024. Then he started not responding to my messages, but I know he read them as I could see under info on WhatsApp that they had been delivered and read. I am in a very difficult situation now as I have an almost 2-year-old grandchild, who we have never met, being raised in unsavory conditions. They drive drunk with the child in the car, owe people money all over town, the child is being dragged from pillar to post and the grandmother drives without a license with my grandchild in the car. This girl has opened 7 false charges against myself and my son, she stalks him at work although SHE is in possession of a protection order (yet she breaches her own protection order), she has had us both arrested, my son beaten by the police at his place of work (he is disabled and works with a company under their disability program), 42 court appearances with all charges having been dropped due to lack of evidence. She has tried to get me suspended from The SA Tax institute (I am a tax practitioner) and the PPRA (Also an estate agent), by opening false charges against me so I get a ******** charge and won’t be able to work. I found out on Thursday that SAIT (my governing body for the tax practitioners association) is now investigating me IRO any ******** charges I may have against my name. It’s been almost 3 years of hell and cost R 440 0000 in the legal fees to keep our good names and prevent her lies from costing myself and my son our jobs. I need to save my grandchild. I have now been ********** by this company, and a year ago was taken for R 35 000 by Brad Nathanson Investigations. I am tired of being taken for a ride. DO NOT use this company, they are not honest.

Variety Cars, Marques Finance, Care Centre Holdings
On 20 March 2023, I purchased an Audi A1(2011 model) through Variety cars and financed it through Marquis Finance. We had the car for 2 weeks and there was an oil leak which was supposed to have been attended to in April 2023- we had the car for 6.5 months and I am told that the engine is needing to be replaced because the oil was not changed at the service we were promised when we took delivery. The oil blocked the filter due to it being “sludge” (at a service they should have replaced the oil - serviced by RMI dealer Car Centre Holdings) and no warning lights came because there was a small amount of oil going through the filter, but just enough to cause the oil light not to come on. Last week the oil light came on and we immediately took it to fill the oil – we were told the oil was full. The car was flat bedded to Bosch service Centre. Never driven after the oil light came on. I believe Variety cars did not actually service this vehicle or they would have done an oil change. I called the owner of Variety cars (Amy) and she was absolutely rude telling me it was negligence on my part – how? No oil light ever came on. The mechanic has told me that the oil is sludge and was not pumping through the cars system correctly due to lack of proper servicing. She claims she did a service, which I dispute as with these cars once you plug it into the system it indicates problem areas. She is a *****, and I intend to take this legal in order to stop her from ripping people off again in this manner. The car which we paid R 130 000 for has subsequently cost us R 89 000 to repair, the insurance paid a further R 25 000 and owe R 104 000 to the finance house, plus we paid a R 60 000 deposit. Total R 278 000 for a car that was not drivable after 6.5 months and we could not drive for 5 months due to the nature of the repairs. The owner of variety Cars, Amy even refused to give me a copy of my signed offer to purchase. These people are *****ed as the day is long. Variety Motors, Marques finance and Car Centre holding should not be in operation. ******.
