Excellent Service from Edwin and the delivery team of BedsDirect, I ordered and paid and beds were delivered the very next day. 2 of the legs didn't fit nicely, I e-mailed Edwin and he personally delivered 3 legs to my house the very next day. Vey happy and impressed with the service.
Clearance Warehouse Newtown, bought x2 wingback chairs on the 19.02.2022 - was told that it will take 18 days for one chair to be made because they only had one in stock, ok no problem, date of delivery was organised. Upon delivery they sent the incorrect chairs, delivery guys still wanted a tip. No problem mistakes happen - To date not one single employee from Clearance Warehouse has called me. I have to call to follow-up everytime. Have spoken to various people and nobody can give me a satisfactory response, They either ignore you or say that they will call you back but I havent received a single phonecall. To date nothing. Went to the store to query was told that they just collected my chairs from the supplier and I can expect delivery soon(lies once again) Its now the 20.04.2022 and still nothing, followed up with the store manager Zain, oh there was a delay with the supplier can expect it (what?) to be there(wherw is there) Tuesday the 26.04.2022. He then apologises for the invoice(not the inconvenience) He couldnt even be bothered to spell words correctly when communicating. I ask for a refund and get told that I must send through my bank details confirmation letter and that refunds takes 5 days to be processed because they get done in batches. Why batches ? Shouldnt refunds be the absolute last resort for any business ? Can just imagine the runaround I will get when it comes to getting my money back. The stress and worry that this causes a person is not right. Checked reviews on hello peter and there are a number of complaints just like mine with people never getting their money refunded. This is the worst experience ever for me. I cannot believe how this company treats their customers with such blatant disrespect. I have decided to lodge a complaint with the consumer ombudsman. It is so wrong what they are doing to people. Zain/Zelda/Crosby/Layla all of them just could not be bothered to return my calls or have the customer centric mindset to sort my query out. I have gone to ****a shops who give me better service. I am truly disgusted !
