In 2020 I booked a car for a holiday in South Africa. I paid upfront: R17,940.00. Then Covid hit us and I had to cancel my holiday. I tried numerous times to claim the money from Drive South Africa, and eventually gave up because nobody ever got back to me after promising they would. Now I am trying to book another car and use some of the previous money as credit. I spoke to someone at their head office, and the person I spoke to looked up my reference number and confirmed that I still had the credit. After trying again and again after that to sort out the issue all emails remain unanswered, and I cannot get in touch with anyone who can help me!!! This kind of behaviour is shocking. I will do everything in my power to discredit these criminals who have stolen my money and refuse to refund me or give me credit.
