Do not use DHK

Do not use DHK Moving for international moves. The owner of DHK has removed two of my previous 1 star reviews. We paid DHK to move us from South Africa to Canada. Once our container was on the ship, and we had arrived in Canada, DHK informed us that they had not paid the shipping agents or the local movers. Our container then was then held to ransom while the shipping agents waited for DHK to pay. The container started incurring demurrage and detention costs everyday that DHK failed to pay the shipping agents for the release of the container. After weeks of non-payment from DHK we had to pay these costs (an additional R300 000) ourselves or risk having our container sent back to South Africa. DHK apologised and promised to pay. It has now been 78 days and we have not been reimbursed. DHK has stopped communicating with us since the 6th of October. DHK have threatened us that should we go the legal route we will not see a cent.
