I had an extremely disappointing experience with Hyundai East Rand when purchasing a car. Not only did they sell me a vehicle,without tires,but it also ,did not end there the dealership Principal wanted to cancel my deal because I requested tires to be changed as it’s a basic legal requirement. When I raised these issues, their customer service was unhelpful special Sydney Ishmael Jhinnabhoy and dismissive. It’s unacceptable for a dealership to cut corners like this and then refuse to take responsibility. Buyers should beware—this is not the level of professionalism you’d expect from a reputable brand like Hyundai. I would,not recommend.this dealership to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. I ended up spend extra R2600 in strengthening the Car Rims because all of them were bend
My Name is Vusi Lebane Ncube, I am business entrepreneur in the E Hailing and Shuttle logistics industry for the past 10 years . We have always worked hard and resiliently , always striving to be the best and primarily what makes us best is our highly rated and experienced drivers and quality car catalogue. I have been lead to this platform as a last resort to raise an awareness about this Car Dealer specifically Hyundai EastRand , I am not happy with their merit of service and customer satisfaction at large. I bought our First Pre Owned fleet Bus Hyundai Staria 2022, on the 26 March 2024 , and had it returned for Diagnosis and Inspection due to Complaints with Unmatching Body Paint and to their surprise we learnt they were not aware that the vehicle sold to us had been a pre historicly accident damaged vehicle. The principal Dealer at the knowledge of this was able to come up with a resolve to swap our vehicle given the evidence undeniable to both parties, in which we waited another 3 weeks to be called in for a deal exchange and document delays that seemed not to pull through on the administration side. We finally got the vehicle on the 6th of Jun 2024 , in which the following day the 7th of June 2024 I would have to send it back again due to a questionable sound that was coming from the Engine, like wise upon arriving at the dealer , the Car was confirmed for the apparent error . How ever it would require a speciallist from Hyundai SA to look at the car and conclude on an outcome regarding the Sounds perceived while in Operation. We are not Mechanics when it comes to our line of business and we work at the very niche level of customer safety , reliability and comfort at all times and this particular Dealer has failed us at keeping the likeness of merit to our customers. While all this be the Case they have made it clear to us that they will not be acknowledging any Loss of Income and can only proceed with all their Diagnosis and Inspections as per their Business as Usual Protocol. We are not happy with their conditions also placed to conclude on the second vehicle which involves having to strip the engine of the car and re work on it for what so ever would be to please the out come , it is totally uncalled for , Honesty goes a long way as policy! I am unhappy with the way they have handled our predicament with our financed car , and overall service and quality of assurance to bring us recourse. At this point all we want is a swap again of a vehicle likely in the same year and model as per our business demands or we will have to consider on cancellation of the deal with other Car Make options to consider for the foreseeable future .
