So unfortunately I went for a major foot operation and the doctor told me to stay in bed until further notice. I therefore cancelled the reservation with Booking. Com. Who later said to me that the hotel needs a doctor's note. We'll the doctors note was sent to the hotel.then a day after which is 23rd May 2025, the hotel informed me that I cannot be refunded because of a short notice. Now I am wondering which short notice? Why did they ask for my docrors note? The confirmation number is 4831202189 and the pin is 9966. I could not even change the date because am not sure of my healing process. I am without electricity for passed 20 days, and since day 1, I reported to Eskom I was told to pay R6052.60 after paying nothing has ever happened. I call every day but am not getting a clear picture as to when I will get connected. instead I am given different reference numbers. my meter box is 07066637096. The first reference number I was given is 515938562 the second is 6834962507 which I was told it is for the payment, the last one is 518810270 which I really don't know what is it for. I have to this day made over 150 calls to 0860037566. there was a time where I was given a 011411 6512 and ask for Vusi. At first thought that line is not working but after the 3rd day calling it was answered, by that Vusi who asked for my address and indicated that the following day eskom technicians will come to may house that was on the 27th April to date no one has ever come to my house. I was also given another number 011 989 9660 where a lady told me that she does not work with meter boxes. I called eskom again I was again given another number 0833302165 where i got a lady who asked for my address and the proof of payment as well as my contact indicating that technicians will come - today is the 2nd day still nothing. I am really concern with the way Eskom is doing things.
