I received a call from Financial Freedom Services, then I told them i am at work cannot talk now. After the call I received a sms Stating that I gave them consent to request my credit report! That is invasion of privacy as I did not gave them any consent!
After many email sending my proof of payments and my correspondence with Cell C regarding my so called account that is in arrears. After many emails and correspondence between me and different departments of Cell C, I received two mails as well as a sms where they apologize for the inconvenience and that my account is not in arrears and number in question is fully paid and now a pre paid number after I gave my 1months notice. Now all of a sudden different collection departments phoning me regarding this same issue that was solved two month ago! VVM and Cell C collections. What is wrong with this company! If Cell C blacklist my name believe me there will be trouble! I have all my proof! And why must I send it again if this is resolved two months ago already! What a pathetic company and service! My side is clean and I did everything I could. Why must I fight again for something that was not my mistake but a mistake from there side! I would like to speak to someone competent who are willing to assist me and finally sort this problem! I know I am not in arrears and have proof of that from Cell C....Why did they not communicate this through to the collection departments! And why are there two different departments phoning me and asking for more proof!
Different departments at Cell C does not communicate with each other. On 28 February I phoned retention department to cancel a contract, I received a sms to confirm the cancellation for the end of March 2022. My last debitorder for that number went of on the 30th of March 2022. The cancelled number went from a contract number to a pre-paid number. On Tuesday 10 May I received a sms on the pre-paid number that I was handed over by Cell C. I immediately phoned Cell C customer Service and spoke to two consultants, both could not find anything wrong on my account. They confirmed that the number in question now a pre-paid is, since 1 April 2022. The only amount payable is on my other Cell C Contract and is only payable end of May 2022. The suggest that I send an email to Customer Service with my proof of payments as well as the confirmation sms. On Wednesday 11 May I send the email and ask for help asap. On Thursday 12 May the collections agency contact me regarding my so called outstanding amount and confirmed that it is for the number that I cancelled. I explained my situation and they asked me to send the mail with all my proof the them. Up to today nobody from Cell C contacted me regarding my situation. I have send numerous emails but no reply! I think the retention department did not send my cancellation through to accounts. I am very upset about this terrible service from Cell C. It is my name and credit record that is at stake but it seems like of they just want money does not matter if the client's account is all in order. This is very bad service! They are quick to contact or hand a client over for money, but if it is a mistake form there side they do not worry to rectify the problem!
