Having left my vehicle with Mr. Parking for 9 days, when I went to collect it at OR Tambo, there was no sign of my vehicle or an agent. When the car arrived, the agent was rude about us having taken "so long' to get from the flight..nevermind that I was travelling with a baby and were delayed collecting the car seat. He was also very rude about us not having cash to pay him, rather doing an EFT. When I went over to my car, the ignition was on and the door wide open - what a security risk!!! I turned the car off while we loaded the luggage. When I came to start the car, it was dead....a totally flat battery! Clearly Mr. Parking were aware of this and chose not to tell me. Unacceptable!! On complaining to the company, I was told the operations manager would investigate...needless to say I have not heard a word from him!! There are several parking companies operating from Or Tambo - my advice would be to avoid using Mr. Parking...I certainly won't be using them again.
In trying to make a claim under the extended warranty on my vehicle, the service given by the consultant was unprofessional, unhelpful and at times officious. The process was not explained clearly and the claim was cancelled even though the consultant was aware that I was waiting for the damage report from the garage. No communication from the consultant, just a curt email informing me of the cancellation. Most unimpressed with the service!
