I used Mr. Parking because they advertise under roof parking. To my surprise my car suffered R181 000 worth of hail damage while parked under roof! No accountability from them. No contact from them them, apart from a letter apologizing for the "Incovenience"! Increased Insurance premiums will make sure that I pay for many years to come.

I recently had a very negative experience with Mr. Parking. They did not arrive for a booking early in the morning and they didn't answer their phone. I was refunded my prepaid amount (not the huge amount that I had to pay to ORT), but no explanation or apology were received. It was such a disappointment, as I have used them successfully many times in the last 12 years.

I have used them multiple times and they were on time, friendly and affordable, I am concerned to see the bad reviews and would like Mr Paring to respond though. But personally I have had multiple good experiences.

We have recently come back from a holiday only to find that our spare tire had been ******. We phoned to ask but got no response at all. Two of our family members have also used Mr Parking and had bad experiences with them, they stole petrol from the one and tried to ***** the car seats from the other (she did declare that they were in the car) they phoned to query and were told that its their fault and it was neither their problem. If i was able to i wouldn't even leave a rating, we leave our cars trusting that you will look after them only to discover that our cars aren't safe with you and that you cant keep your hands to yourself. If we had realized theft was involved in your business i can guarantee that we wouldn't have even considered you. You should be ashamed of yourselves. So for anyone thing of using Mr Parking i strongly advise you NOT to use it.

Two of our family members have also used Mr Parking and had bad experiences with them, they stole petrol from the one and tried to ***** the car seats from the other (she did declare that they were in the car) they phoned to query and were told that its their fault and it was neither their problem. If i was able to i wouldn't even leave a rating, we leave our cars trusting that you will look after them only to discover that our cars aren't safe with you and that you cant keep your hands to yourself. If we had realized theft was involved in your business i can guarantee that we wouldn't have even considered you. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I've sent this letter three times to Mr. Parking. Got no response. Dear Mr Parking This is a very difficult letter to write as I am so disappointed. You must realise that when we leave our cars with you, it is nearly the same as leaving our house keys with you. One's car is an extension of yourself and very close to your heart. When I picked up my car last Saturday I immediately realised my dashcam and the rest of the electronics like the cigarette charger and phone charger that were in the car are not there anymore. I immediately phoned Willie, who was not helpful at all. He asked my why would my dashcam specifically be ****** if there were 400 cars in the lot, of course I did not have an answer for such a silly question. Upon doing my research and reading some reviews I realise petty theft is a common problem at Mr Parking which is very disturbing. In the light of that I would like to know who had access to the car keys, you must surely have some kind of list or roster? Or are you just leaving the cars open for the duration of the stay? Do you have CCTV cameras that are surveying the parking area or are they conveniently out of order? I am part of a group of eleven that is going abroad in August and if I do not get a satisfactory response, we will not be using your services anytime in the future, which is a pity, because I liked being a client of Mr Parking. Please get back to me.

Having left my vehicle with Mr. Parking for 9 days, when I went to collect it at OR Tambo, there was no sign of my vehicle or an agent. When the car arrived, the agent was rude about us having taken "so long' to get from the flight..nevermind that I was travelling with a baby and were delayed collecting the car seat. He was also very rude about us not having cash to pay him, rather doing an EFT. When I went over to my car, the ignition was on and the door wide open - what a security risk!!! I turned the car off while we loaded the luggage. When I came to start the car, it was dead....a totally flat battery! Clearly Mr. Parking were aware of this and chose not to tell me. Unacceptable!! On complaining to the company, I was told the operations manager would investigate...needless to say I have not heard a word from him!! There are several parking companies operating from Or Tambo - my advice would be to avoid using Mr. Parking...I certainly won't be using them again.

It was 2 days but they charged me 3 days explaining that they work on calendar days, which I accepted and paid them in full. I then saw my stuff is missing and lodge a formal complaint. Not only was my keyring damaged/broken but the following items were stolen from my vehicle: 1. Prescription Oakley sunglasses 2. Jumper cables 3. Red warning triangle 4. Container full of bubblegum and mints The estimate value of all the items is about R4000. I spoke to Kevin the Ops Manager who informed me that this is not how they operate and he will investigate the matter and give me feedback. That was nine days ago and I still haven't received any feedback. I will most certainly NOT recommend them, pay a bit more to people/business you can trust.
