I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at the Grove Rochester store, and I feel compelled to share my grievances, particularly concerning the store manager, Unity. My encounter with her left me with a sour taste, and I want to caution others to steer clear of this establishment. I made two significant purchases at this store—a couch and a TV. From the very beginning, the experience was marred by incompetence and misinformation. Unity, the manager, seemed disinterested in providing clear information, and her lack of professionalism was evident throughout the entire process. One of the major issues I faced was the difficulty in understanding the finance contract. Unity was unable or unwilling to clarify the terms, making it nearly impossible for me to comprehend the details of the agreement. This lack of transparency is completely unacceptable and left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. Furthermore, Unity loaded unnecessary items onto the bill without any explanation or justification. It became apparent that her primary focus was on upselling rather than ensuring a positive customer experience. To make matters worse, she insisted that there were no alternative options for the financing period, claiming that three years was the only choice available. However, I proved her wrong by settling the account within a year, contrary to her insistence that it couldn't be done. This misinformation and attempt to limit my choices left me questioning the integrity of the store and its management. In light of my terrible experience, I strongly advise potential customers to avoid the Grove Rochester store and, in particular, to be wary when dealing with Unity. There are countless other stores that prioritize customer satisfaction and transparent transactions over profit-driven tactics. Save yourself the headache and explore alternative options for your furniture and electronics needs.
Think twice and don’t just don’t. They will promise the world at the beginning. Firstly you will get a call from a guy insisting that you call him Mr. Sam, he is your Student Success Coordinator and if you ask this Mr. Sam anything he will just say it is not his job. But soon you wil also discover they don’t provide a rubric or any scoring sheet for any of their assignments. When you are going to query this Mr. Sam will tell you it’s not his job. Eventually you will be put through to another person and they will confirm that Damlin doesn’t have a Rubric and you should rather just try to get as close as you can per questions. Without a rubric or a scoring sheet how would any person know what is the right way of answering any question. Rather stay away and save yourself a few thousand.
