Takealot doesn't allow customers to return poor quality products
Takealot refused to refund/exchange me 2 items I returned as poor quality. They force you to take/accept poor quality products. Will gladly use other online companies and shun this company

Disappointed by Disorganised Takealot during the 2023 festive season
Have been using Takealot for sometime and haven't had delivery issues till this festive season 2023. I would assume Takealot has been in business for sometime now for them to know and understand how festive season works. What I experienced this December doesn't seem to show they are experienced enough to navigate festive season. I placed an order on the 19th Of December 2023, system picked 27th December as the delivery date. To my surprise on the 22nd of December i received a notification that i should expect my order the next day Saturday the 23rd (I even cancelled my plans to go out of the house expecting this delivery which never came). 23rd came, i never received their usual message updates of my delivery. Sunday the 24th i received another update saying i should expect my scheduled delivery on the 27th of December, fair enough that was the actual system set delivery date. Today the 27th i was surprised no update came in the morning the time they normally send their updates. Just after 12pm they sent an email labelled parcel lost in transit, seriously Takealot you need to be professional and stop lying to customers. Another message came soon after that a replacement order has been placed and will be delivered the 3rd of January 2024. Be professional, if you were shutting down you could have notified us you were shutting down. My conclusion was, you never planned for this festive season delivery schedules and noone was available to do these deliveries thereby inconveniencing us customers and lying in the process which is very disappointing. Maybe a fierce competitor isn't such a bad idea in your space.

BE WARNED, BE WARNED, BE WARNED ELEGANTCV APP ARE CROOKS, THEY STEAL YOUR CARD MONEY ElegantCV App is not a genuine App, it is a crooked App full of thieves. When you first use their App i realised too late that the amount they charge you to use their CV Template is for them to lure you so that you enter your bank card details. I used their template, paid for the shown amount for the template i used. Only to realise a week later that they deducted from my card an amount i never agreed on,an amount i knew nothing about,an amount they never even sent me to let me know there is an amount they are taking from my card. After i saw that deducted amount i contacted their "customer Service" department, they never responded and it is very frustrating for crooks to steal from unsuspecting clients. I therefore need to warn innocent people out there not to use this App, ElegantCV are THIEVES waiting to pounce on your hard earned money, be warned
