It’s easy for an agent to lose composure when dealing with a difficult client who is loud and angry — but not Sidwell Mokwena from Cell C. He was patient with me and tried his best to resolve my queries. Even though I didn’t get exactly what I wanted, he went the extra mile by contacting the GetMore team and reaching a conclusion regarding my issue. (lol) I’m still not okay with paying for GetMore, but Sidwell Mokwena helped me understand the situation, and I’ve made peace with the unexpected deduction. At the end of the day, good customer service is not just a department — it’s an attitude. A good attitude delivers good service, just like Sidwell Mokwena did.
Cell C promised to resolve my queries, till this day. Now look at how they mess up my credit score, just for not agreeing to pay for getmore, something you don't even have a contract with. From paying R219 to pay R684.98 just because get more decided. Worse the economy is so bad that you cant afford R 20.00 for bread and Cell c feel you need to pay such money for something you ddnt agree on. Cell C sms,' Your Cell C services remain suspended with a credit bureau adverse listing. Call 084135 for a payment plan for the R684.98. If you have paid, please ignore.' While I feel the need that credit bureau should protect us from such service provides, who just list and mess up credit scores without fixing how they provide the service.
I appreciate your quick response from Cell C query. However, I still disagree that I confirmed taking the Get More deal. Before the lady finalized anything, I informed her that I was at work and needed to return to my duties. I specifically asked her to send me a link so we could continue the discussion later. After that, I left my phone unattended. Later, when I spoke to someone else on a recorded line, I said “yes, darling” to that person — not as confirmation of the Get More offer. I had already mentioned that I needed to get back to work, so I did not pay attention to what was said afterward. I maintain that I never agreed to the Get More deal. Furthermore, my normal account fee is R219 per month, but my debit order — including Get More — was R398. This does not add up, as the Get More fees are supposed to be R40 and R69. Lastly, I requested the cancellation of the Get More account a month ago, yet I was billed again this month. I understand that my query may be complex, as Sidwell said, they is nothing more can be done. so can I cancel my account/contract as nothing can be doe. I need to pay for something I didn't agree on. so I will pay my bill but first cancel my contract with no cancellation fee and I pay you off.. nothing more can be done.

I visited the Mr Price store in Rosebank on 23 October 2025 to exchange a pair of shoes. I had the original slip, but not the card used for payment. The staff refused to assist me, even after I explained that I was willing to take another item worth R30 to make up the difference. What upset me most was the rude attitude of one of the male staff members. He spoke without listening and treated me with no respect at all. I was left feeling irritated and disappointed. I’ve always loved shopping at Mr Price and have done exchanges at other branches without any problem, so I didn’t expect this kind of treatment. I hope management looks into this and improves customer service at the Rosebank branch.

Could Cell C resolving my query? I was billed more than my usual amount, and when I queried it, I was informed it was due to the “Get More” service. I then requested the cancellation of this service, but I was still billed for it again this month. I have asked Cell C to investigate this issue, but after a month, I have received no feedback. I do not know anything about the “Get More” service, yet I continue to be billed for it. While I am generally happy with Cell C’s service, when it comes to invoicing or billing queries, it’s a completely different story. I am so angry, because I reverse payment and that's mess up my credit score, if you cant get invoicing correct, why would you bring back my money after incorrect billing..

I never felt like I'm stupid until I get to speak to Nedbank car insurance team. My call lasted for an hour being transferred from one agent to another. I was pause on a call for more than 10 times. Quote was out, the agent advised me that he will ask another agent to call me as I was not comfortable with the instalment. I don't want to be angry about this, but I am so disappoint of Nedbank car insurance team.
