I bought new prescription glasses from Mullers Tygervalley on the 16th of June when I went for a routine eye test. It took about ten days for me to receive my new prescription glasses. After wearing the glasses for a week my eyes did not adjust as expected. I went back to the shop in Tygervalley and they found that the optical centre of the glasses was not correctly placed by or manufactured by the laboratory Zeis as measured and indicated on the glasses by the store. This was on Saturday the 2nd of July. On the 5th I was informed that the glasses has only now been sent back to the lab… today is the 13th of July I still have not received my glasses. It was sent back to the branch with out the correct lenses in them. It is very inconvenient for me to have to wait this long. The price I paid for these was astronomical and expensive one would think that the service and the after sales service will reciprocate this. But to my disappointment not. I have been wearing glasses for 30years - this is the worst experience I have ever had. I am doubting the urgency that is being given to the problem. I am extremely frustrated - one would expect better service especially the times we are living in. I would not recommend them ….
