I happened to pay my rent on the 6th this month. Yesterday the 30th my electricity got finish and to my surprise I couldn't recharge, I went to the estate take shop and I was told my meter was block. I called indlu and they said I must call the emergency number, I called the number I was then. Referred to the building manager, who even said he was doing me a favour😪. He requested me to send him proof of payment, I did that and he said they said my rental was behind by a month, while I paid on the 6th for July. How do people resort to blocking I essential services without even giving me a written warning, even stating the consequences. It was never stated to me that my meter will be blocked, isn't even lawful since the electricity is prepaid. The care taker said it was all sorted I should buy electricity, I went to the security to recharge and they told me that the care taker said that they shouldn't entertain me and they can't call him because it's late? Is the caretaker not supposed to attend to emergencies even at night? I was even afraid to call because after his called he called I must not call him again, I could call unipin if I'm not mistaken, I should call them on Monday, it is day 2 now without electricity, now I'm even thinking to get a small room and relocation, I have a son I need to care for, how do I Cook. Do I need to call the caretaker even though he said I'm not suppose to?
I have a bad experience with Indlu property, Im staying at Quagga estate, how does having a late payment has anything to do with me paying rent late? My prepaid meter was blocked because I paid rent on the 06. There was no communication or a letter sent to me starting that my meter box will be block. I just come home today the 30th after paying on the 06 and I don't have electricity. I can't buy and I'm told my meter is blocked. This is abuse of power and soo much unlawful. Where do I report this kind of acts?
