Terrible Service - No Communication & No Refund After 3 Weeks! I placed 2 orders with Makro on 17 Aug 2023 and was told the next day the items were out of stock and I'd receive a refund in 2-5 days. It is now 6 Sept, 3 weeks later, and I still have NOT received my refund or any communication from Makro! I have had to continuously chase after Makro - calling customer service multiple times, providing my banking details, etc. Each time they assure my refund is being processed but then I hear NOTHING. 3 weeks without my refund is completely unacceptable! Makro has provided terrible customer service by failing to proactively communicate and refund me. I've wasted hours of my time trying to get my money back. Clearly they do not value their customers. I will never shop at Makro again and urge others to avoid this company. It's now been 21 days since they acknowledged owing me a refund, and I still have received nothing. Buyer beware - Makro does not stand behind their customers or deliver on promises. I am beyond frustrated with them. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!
Dear Hallo Peter Community, I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the abysmal customer service and complete lack of communication demonstrated by PG Glass. My recent experience with their company regarding a windscreen claim has been nothing short of a nightmare. After waiting for more than six weeks since the claim was authorized, I am still without a windscreen for my vehicle. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to PG Glass, including emails and phone calls, I have received no feedback, acknowledgement, or progress report regarding my claim. It is disheartening to see a company of their size and reputation treat their customers with such disregard. On May 3rd, I sent a detailed email expressing my dissatisfaction and demanding action. Unfortunately, to this day, I have not received any response. The level of unprofessionalism demonstrated by PG Glass is shocking and speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service. Furthermore, when I did receive an email from their representative on May 11th, it provided nothing but vague and unhelpful information. I was told that the glass had not been received from the dealer, with no estimated time of arrival. This lack of transparency and failure to provide any concrete resolution is simply unacceptable. The inconvenience, stress, and dissatisfaction caused by PG Glass's incompetence cannot be overstated. It is clear that they have no sense of urgency, accountability, or effective communication when it comes to resolving customer issues. As a result, I am left stranded without a windscreen and with no clear indication of when this matter will be resolved. I implore anyone considering using PG Glass for their auto glass needs to think twice. The company's disregard for customers, lack of professionalism, and inability to deliver on their promises make them an unreliable and ************* choice. In conclusion, my experience with PG Glass has been a complete and utter disappointment. Their failure to provide timely and effective service, coupled with their lack of communication, has left me feeling frustrated, inconvenienced, and dissatisfied. I sincerely hope that this review serves as a warning to others and prompts PG Glass to reevaluate their customer service practices.
I phoned on the 14th the control room enquiring when was the last time the received a power fail signal as i noticed that I wasn't getting the SMS's I used to get during loadshedding. I was informed that the last signal they got from my system was in October. I then asked the person I spoke to why they did not pick up my alarm is not sending signals and she said they have to many customers to be able to do that. This is very strange as they don't have to many customers to ensure that the debit orders are collected. I then informed her that I was leaving on holiday and need my alarm sorted asap. She said that that fals under a standby call out and I will be charged for it. I mentioned that it is radio issueand should be sorted by them free of charge as per agreement. She the promised that a technician will be send out on the 15th December. At 18h00 on the 15th December, nobody has pitched so I phoned again informing the person I spoke to that I might as well cancel my membership as I am going on holiday with a working alarm system that doesn't send signals. She then promised that someone will be at my house to sort it by 1pm on the 16th December. Guess what, another empty promise an I left for vacation with a armed alarm that will not be sending a signal if activated and my insurance most probably not willing to pay ou if God forbid something should happen! Thanks ATD Fertility for diligently take my hard earned monu and not giving a darn about me the loyalty customer for over 6 years!! I will be changing my service provider when getting back from holiday to a smaller company that still cares with competent personnel that actually do something instead of making promises to get rid of you over the phone.

Once done I paid in full and was promised that they will be back after 3 days to inspect the pool and issue a certificate for the 10 year warrantee (that will be voided if I fill my pool before the came back), I was also promised a sand change in my Filter free of charge. The paint dried and made some pretty sharp points that was supposed to be sanded down during the inspection for the 10 year warranty certificate that's supposed to be issued. Well it is now the 29th August and almost 2 weeks later, numerous promises and me trying to fit my schedule in with the empty promises and my pool is still empty and not complete! I have tried all means to get them to come and finish up, but are just being messed around. If you consider using them then don't pay the full amount till the job is 100% complete and you are satisfied that you did get what was promised!

Order food on their delivery app on the 29th and after my card was debited for R148.90 the app crashed. When opening the app again the items ordered was still in the shopping cart, I checked it out and my card was debited again! I phoned the customer care line and after trying to speak to various incompetent agents i was told that the firts transaction never created a order so the debited amount will be credited within 48 hours. I then waited for my order paid for double at that stage to be delivered, after an hour I phoned again and had to explain my situation again to various incompetent agents, and was told that it is now to late and that I will most probably not receivemy order. On the 30th Saturday I phoned again and was told that a case will be opened and I will receive a call back to confirm. Monday the 1st I phoned again and the sam empty promises. So the final outcome is, it is the 3rd today and I received no food no call and no credit on my account. I have been robbed of R297.80 and they just can't be bothered.
