This place must close, went to buy food at KFC Kempton gate. Not only was the order wrong when I got back home but phoned them and spoke to the manager. Only to tell me to bring back the food the next day and he will reimburse me. They are already so expensive but now I must also drive up and down because they cant do their work. I refused and he said he will send a driver just to find out he doesn't even know how to speel. Pathetic service from this KFC

I had a very disappointing experience at KFC during a recent team lunch. (KFC corner bethal and main road) We placed a group order which included wraps, chicken, chips, and drinks. When we started eating, one of us opened the chicken and immediately noticed that it was completely raw, pink and clearly undercooked. This made everyone else to check their meals, and unfortunately, every single portion of chicken was in the same state. We returned to the store with the food, expecting them to take it seriously. Instead, we were told that their chicken can have a “pink texture,” and the staff refused to properly inspect what we brought back. This response was both dismissive and concerning given the obvious food safety issue. They replaced the meals, but the quality of the replacement was just as poor. The twister wrap I received was carelessly assembled, with a very small piece of chicken, minimal lettuce, and mayo, clearly made with little effort. After such a serious mistake, I expected them to at least ensure the replacement meals were up to standard, but that was not the case. To make matters worse, the manager did not come out to address the issue when requested. Overall, this experience was unacceptable. Serving raw chicken is a serious health risk, and the way the situation was handled showed a lack of accountability and professionalism. I will definitely not be returning to this branch.

On Monday 2026-03-16 at about 17:45 we went to Scottburgh KFC to buy dinner. Our order number was 1090 and we ordered a fully loaded meal and 10 hot wings. We received our food and went back to our holiday accomodation. My wife ate her mash and gravy and chips. She then put the burger and one piece of chicken in the fridge to eat the following day. On Tuesday 2026-03-17 she opened the box with the burger to find that there's no chicken (patty) on the burger. We send an e-mail to head office to inform them but up to now 2026-03-18 we didn't receive any response. The phone number of the KFC store where we bought the food is always engaged when we tried to call them. The overall service wasn't bad but if you prepare food make sure everything is there

Your app have constant errors so orders can not be processed. Phoned the store. sorry cannot help by phone for deliveries. Why not? Do you not realize how much business you loosing. At least every second week there is a different error. Sort our your app or go back to allowing us to order by phone.

On the 6th of March I visited KFC kokstad, I attempted to make use of the self service counter and upon noticing that it was very slow to respond I approached the till to make my order. After my order was placed I then used the tap feature on my phone and the transaction went through and money was deducted on my account. The person assisting me with my order said it had declined and I should tap again because the store was having network issues. I refused after he kept insisting that I should tap again. He then called his Supervisor who made it my fault that the transaction had failed. I walked out the store without my order and without my money. The supervisor said she would call me it’s now the 16th And I have not received my money back. I have spoken with my bank and they say I have to wait for kfc to claim the funds because the transaction doesn’t appear on my bank statement. Highly disappointing how their team has handled this situation. I have communicated with them on numerous occasions to tell them that I cannot provide a bank statement as the transaction doesn’t appear on my statement however I have the sms to show that the transaction did occur and funds were deducted from my account.

I am beyond disappointed with the service (or lack thereof) from KFC Khayelitsha today. I placed an order for 24 Zinger Wings this morning specifically because I have guests over. KFC cancelled my order (Order #111855) because they "couldn't find a driver." While I understand logistics issues happen, the resolution process is completely unacceptable for a customer: 1. No Choice Provided: The order was cancelled and a refund was initiated automatically. I was never given the option to come and collect the food myself, which I would have gladly done to ensure my guests were fed. 2. Financial Hardship: Because it is a Sunday, the R 210.90 refund will take up to 72 hours to reflect. This has left me with no food for my guests and no money in my account to order from elsewhere. 3. Dismissive Customer Support: When I reached out for a resolution (Case CAS-3063526-H0V7J7), I received a generic apology call stating there is "nothing they can do" because the refund is already in progress. An apology doesn't feed my guests or put the money back in my account today. A customer-centric business would have offered a store credit/voucher to be used immediately or allowed a manual override for collection. KFC took my money instantly but expects me to wait three days to get it back while I sit with an empty table. Extremely poor form.
