No. Just no. Its not okay to take close on 2hrs to deliver fish and chips. Then when reminding the Waitrose of a medical condition the team was advised of with one of the group- the one meal is delivered and the other five patrons are left waiting for "plating" to take place for another 20 minutes. This coupled with disinterested rude Waitrons cavorting around with zero feedback. Then after requesting to speak to manager we have Mr. Verlin arrive with a half baked apology and when pressed further for reasons for the poor service we are offered the perfunctory "the kitchen having recieved too many orders at once" and the same rude Waitrose returns offering to provide a dessertnon the house. No thanks- Still waiting on the contact details for the offical complaint line. Too little too late.
Unhelpful, misleading and frustrating. I was informed that I am due for an upgrade to a contract I've had for close on a decade. After discussing a package with add-ons and accepting the telephonic quote I receive the device and jote that the deal isn't reflecting. When I follow up I request a written break down of the package and see that the data offering on the package (which was critical to the deal) does not reflect and when I follow up further I am advised by the elite mobile agent that I must have misunderstood the deal - because of course don't know the difference between 1gb and 100 gb apparently) and he isn't able to escalate the matter because the sales division is different from the queries division and there's nothing that can be done except for me to return the device. To clarify - there is no way that the biggest network in SA is able to within itself verify what the issue is and assist a loyal customer. No problem guys. Come fetch it. You keep your stuff because you certainly won't be keeping this customer. Unhelpful and misleading to the max. Very disappointing.
