I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the shocking lack of professionalism shown by Nkanyezi Solar Solutions. They installed a 7-panel 5kW inverter backup system on my property in March 2023 and issued the original Certificate of Compliance (COC). On 14 November 2025, I paid them to conduct a service on the same solar installation, and as required, they were supposed to issue a supplementary COC. Since then, despite countless phone calls and multiple WhatsApp messages— sent directly to the company’s Director, Mbongeni Mhlanga—I have received no response whatsoever or I am told they are sending it with nothing being sent. Their silence and refusal to communicate is completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase a service provider daily for basic compliance documentation that they have already paid for. This is not only unprofessional, but it also jeopardises my ability to meet NERSA’s March 2026 deadline for the mandatory registration of solar power systems with my municipality. Without the COC, I am being placed at risk of future penalties, registration challenges and administrative delays—all because Nkanyezi Solar Solutions appears unwilling to complete the job they were contracted and paid to do. A business in the renewable energy sector—especially one dealing with regulated installations—should demonstrate reliability, responsiveness and service integrity. Nkanyezi Solar Solutions has shown none of these. Instead, their behaviour reflects poor business ethics, no accountability and a complete disregard for the customers who keep them in business. I strongly caution anyone considering using them: THINK TWICE. If this is how they handle a query on essential documentation after installation, I dread to imagine how they would handle a serious technical fault or a warranty issue.
Needed a Gas COC. Craig was friendly, efficient and incredibly helpful. 5 star recommendation!!!
COMPLIMENT - I had a great experience with Noxolo Ndayi from Syntell. I had to request for a refund of an electricity voucher which did not load due to a technical issue linked to my meter. I initially spoke to Shakeel and he logged the initial call to have the money debited from my credit card in purchase of that electricity voucher refunded back to me. The call stayed open for 48hrs even though I was advised it would be a 24hr TAT. When I called back in I spoke to Noxolo Ndayi, who immediately advised that the delay was caused by the technical error and she had to escalate to PEC for resolution of that first so that I could thereafter be refunded. She lodged the escalation and even though it took a further 2 business days to resolve, Noxolo ensured to call me on each day to offer an update and to ensure that the refund received priority attention due to the delay. Just got my refund today and also received an email from Noxolo advising of the same. Really very pleased with how she managed to turn around my customer experience and took responsibility to ensure that my request was finalised expeditiously and without any further pain. She is indeed a great reflection of Syntell and its commitment to offer quality service to all its customers. Enkosi Noxolo!!
