I selected the wrong product (my error) but they refunded me in a very professional way and even collected the item from me. I recommend them as a very reliable company
I placed an order on Makro for a Dahua WiFi cctv indoor/outdoor camera (MAK86*****) on a special. I paid, and they delivered the wrong item on 21 December. I asked them to deliver the right one and despite several emails asking for them to send the correct item they conveniently ignore my request and now (after 3 weeks later, and after Christmas when I needed this) they are have only just announced they will refund and not deliver what I originally paid for. Their inability to understand my request and delays in addressing the issue now leaves me with the unpleasant task of repeatedly contacting them and I have an undelivered item I paid for
I have had several systems fail just outside of warranty (Intercom and gate motor internet Trace unit) and this company wants me to replace and they will not repair. I have spoken to my installer and he as well has seen similar issues with the equipment this company supplies. I assume they use substandard or chesp components . This is such a disappointment with a once good company that now gives South African products a bad reputation.
