On the 09th November 2023 my partner had taken his Polo into Mccarthyvwdurban(40 Monty Naicker Road South Beach Durban , 4001)to replace the power steering module.When he went back to collect the car the steering colon was pulling to the left & this was not happening before the car was taken in!He then complained to the mechanic who then spoke to the manager who then said they must fix the problem.The service advisor then gave the total cost to replace which was R38 000.They then said the car came in with the following issues & they are going to do free wheel alignment but he is then liable to pay R14 000 for the steering colom & labour will be free.He then said he does not have that kind of money & the manager then said he will call the parts department to see if they could lower the price which they then called for R10 000 & at lowest R8 500 which he must pay for something that was working when the car was taken in.A lawyer had also called them but with no joy as he is still without a car.Mccarthyvwdurban I am so disappointed because over the years I have used your services & you are now refusing to fix my car!!!I don’t think this is fair at all as when I brought my vehicle in it was not pulling to the left!Mccarthyvwdurban fix my car!!!
Good Day, I am a client banking with Capitec for many years & I have fallen victim to some sort of fraud I have no idea of.On the 29th August 2022 I went into Capitec branch (4198) on West Street Durban to have my cellphone banking app activated.I was assisted by a agent(Hlengiwe) but my issue was unresolved due to sms of activation was delayed.She then went on to increase my online shopping limit.She also advised my to try activating my app at home but still no satisfaction.On Tuesday 30th August 2022 I was at Pavilion mall trying to make purchase using my Capitec card only for it to decline multiple times.I then head into Capitec bank at Pavilion only to find out that Capitec has put a "STOP" on my card as I am being investigated for fraud activity taking place on my cellphone banking app which I had no access to for the longest time.I did not receive any notifications/sms of money coming in/out of my account including my own funds is now gone.I basically have no knowledge about this.As a client of Capitec I have to now prove I am innocent in the fraud that had taken place.They don't value their clients instead I am now being sent from pillar to post to provide information that I am not apart of this fraud.I have no access to my account for the next month or so with no idea if my funds will be refunded as Capitec has no answers I just have to wait whilst they investigate.Also how do you just stop someone's card without notifying them.I am highly pregnant & this has caused me nothing but stress as today 31st August 2022 is my third day at Capitec with no joy!I sat there for over 45 minutes only to be told they are investigating & will contact me when they have information.Capitec does not value their clients at all!!!
