I bought a security door which arrived with an extraordinarily flimsy door handle that immediately bent when pulled shut. The company responded very reasonably and sent a replacement. The replacement upon arrival was flimsily packaged in soft cardboard. Upon opening the handle was discovered to be bent and only marginally less poor in construction than the original. I emailed the company and was told that according to the courier company - which had dropped off the handle about five minutes prior - it had arrived in perfect condition and it was suggested that the damage was personally inflicted and I could buy another one for R750. This is pretty insulting.
After a week without update I emailed and received no response. Ater two weeks I was told my order had been shipped. The tracker showed no movement from two weeks before. more emails with no response, to eventually be told that the toilet had been damaged in transit and another would sent that day. Nothing further and no response to emails sent to different addresses. My renovations are completely stalled, its been almost three weeks since my order.
As a self-employed business owner I incurred heavy personal debt keeping my business afloat over a couple of lean years. After a point I had ceased to draw a salary and the bank began aggressively pursuing their money. The business recovered somewhat and I engaged Debt Rescue services in order to gain relief from the banks relentless phone calls and third party debt collectors. I was an easy sign-up process and in most ways an excellent start. The company sells itself to the client as a caring, family-like organisation that cares for your welfare and understands the anxieties and pressures of living with debt. At any rate, I had instructed a debit order to be effected. I was told that despite it being a business account all would be well. The payment didnt come off, I was told I had denied a debi-check mandate which is untrue. I received a notification SMS and paid manually immediately as well as sending POP as instructed. A few days later I received an extremely aggressive communication including CAPS to the effect that I could expect communication from their legal arm Krause etc. I communicated my surprise and unhappiness at being treated like this. This might seem trivial but I sought out this companies services in an attempt to gain shelter from the storm whilst repairing my financial situation. Their hypocritical approach is to sell you the product, promising you understanding and concern whilst waiting with knives drawn to pounce if you fail to make good. Which I hadn't, the fault was theirs. I wrote two emails communicating my feelings on this and they were ignored. Its not the way to make a client feel anything more than a cipher in an uncaring and automated process.
<div>I bought a 66kva generator generator for R180k from these guys. Once connected to the grid and an attempt was made to start it, it became apparent that there was a problem. The fuel gauge wouldn’t register the 60l of diesel I put in, and the fuel pump wouldn’t push the diesel. It was then discovered that the exhaust manifold gasket was missing and the exhaust was completed disconnected. I contacted their support WhatsApp line with images and descriptions of the problem and was ignored. When I tried to call ***** on support I was immediately hung up on. When I got through on their call centre and got to speak to ***** I was told to email my difficulties, which I did. I eventually received an email asking me for the same information I had previously supplied, and also that it was likely that I was responsible for dismantling the exhaust!! I was then told I had choices. They could mail me faulty parts or I could agree to their supplied quote of having a contractor repair the machine. Despite having explained several times that the machine has had zero hours use and arrived non-functional I was made to understand that the warranty stated that I would have to pay for the contractor to repair it! I was met with the stock response, please refer to the prior email and warranty. Im not unreasonable but their arrogance of position and unconcern with doing what’s right has forced me to start legal proceedings while all I badly need is this generator to work. Don’t use their services.</div>
After ordering and paying for the seeds I received no confirmation email and so I messaged their WhatsApp number. After some time I was told that payment had been received. After more time I emailed asking for a dispatch date with no response. Eventually on WhatsApp I was told I’d get the seeds the following Monday. This date passed, no response to queries and threats of negative reviews. These are scammers, don’t be like me.
