I opened an account with Impact meter Services planning to move to an apartment in Centurion that they manage and I however were unable to move in to the apartment. I signed the contract one of the clause in their contract clause 18a clearly stipulate that as the new account holder for your service to be activated you need to pay a deposit prior then the services will be activated since I never moved to the apartment I never payed any deposit as it was required to my shock I was hit with a + R3800 service bill for the services that I never use and I was told this is the usage for the month of July to August. I have been trying g to resolve this matter with then since last year now I've been told by them that my file is sent to Credit Intel whom I should now engage with when engaging with Credit Intel they refer the matter back to Impact whom also send back to Credit Intel it's been a ping pong now with no one able to answer my question on the activation of the service was their contract clearly stipulate that they need deposit for them to render services to their clients now this credit Intel hits me with a new bill of now R4800 ignoring all my questions on this matter.
Impact meter wants me to pay for the service that I never I have never moved in to the apartment that I am now told I should pay for the services that I never used. Their contract terms clause 18 clearly stipulated that anyone who apply for their services should pay deposit before the services are activated I wonder how in my case when I never paid any deposit nor did I moved in to the apartment and later canceled a contract with them. I am required to pay for the usage of your service. Who authorized activation without deposit?
