On 16 September 2024 I contacted the Bodybliss Spa for the first time asking if it would be possible for me to pre-book treatments as we would like to have treatments done on 28 September 2024. I spoke to Nthando the first time and the second time, after I sent an e-mail I spoke to Thembeka. On the morning of the 28 th of September 2024 at 8am myself and my cousin went in to confirm the pre-bookings and to pay for one of the couples that would as per the pre-booking have full body massages at 10:00am on 28 September 2024. We again specified what we would be coming for as to the body massages and the further treatments at 11:00am. I also mentioned again I spoke to Ntando and the lady at reception said that all is in order and my cousin proceeded to pay R1,300.00. The lady specifically at reception still confirmed that we are 4 people that will be attending in one room at 11:00am. So, from 8am till 10am when our treatments were supposed to start not one of the ladies at the Spa tried to contact us not one lady tried to solve the problem before we arrived at 10am. When we arrived at 9.45am we informed them we are there for our treatments we were informed that they only booked for one couple to have massage and that they are fully booked. Not at any stage did they apologies or tried to fix their mistake we had to change our plans to fit in with them. After it was now confirmed that the other couple will come at 8am the morning of the 29 th they left and my husband had to complete a form. I tried to confirm that they know that we already paid for the other couple and I just wanted to make sure they made a note. Nthando reminded me of the time that is running out. I at that stage were very upset as I could not believe how we are being treated and left the office and asked the other lady where we had to go. Our massage started late because of the fact that the staff at Bodybliss got our booking wrong. Meaning our session ended late. I booked for 4 ladies, me included, to get hands and feet done after the couples massages was done, which couples massages did not take place as pre-booked. The other ladies arrived but wanted to wait for me as it is my birthday so that we can start together. They were placed in a room and waited. I again was informed at the reception by Nthando that our time is running out and the ladies are waiting for me. I told Nthando that she and I have a communication problem and I will prefer to speak to someone else as it seems like we cannot as she has no problem solving skills. Patience came to assist me and took me to the room where my friends had been waiting for me for more than 30 minutes. No preparations for any treatments to be done was in place. Patience then asked all of us what we want done. And we confirmed we wanted 4 pedicures and 1 manicure and then 3x hand messages, which was also confirmed 3 times previously to various staff members since 08:00am the morning, after which she left. We waited for another 10-15 minutes when my friend Karen went back to reception to find out what was going on. Most of the ladies employed at the Spa ran into the room next to the help desk and the lady that was behind the desk just informed us that they can’t help us and we had to leave. I have been in the customer service industry for more than 30 years. I am applaud to think the staff of Bodybliss think that treating their customers like that is acceptable. It is shocking to think that they are allowed to work with clients. A weekend that was planned more than 2 weeks in advance has been ruined by *********** people. I was so upset and had to apologise to my friends because this was supposed to be my birthday weekend and we were all supposed to enjoy it together. Needless to say we went to complain at the main reception and spoke to Bertus the manager on duty and we informed him of what happened. He did give us a call the next day and gave us a R500.00 voucher to apologies although thankful it did not compensate for my birthday weekend arranged well in advance that was ruined and my emotional stress that I and my friends had to endure because of the staff at Bodybliss.
Worst place to take your pet, took our Yorkie to this place last week Wednesday after paying an amount of R1300.00 for an eye infection and injections. The medication has till now not worked called the vet today spoke to the receptionist explained that the medication did not work for what we had him there in the first place. Her reply was bring him in again and yes there will be a R380.00 consultation fee!!! For WHAT!! consulting the vet again for the same thing pathetic !!!! Guys do yourself a favor take your pets to vets that is not just in it for the money but care about the well being of your pets !!!
