We are trying to close a Woolworths Store account which is in my husband's name but it's becoming a bit of a hassle to do so. We paid about 27k on Thursday, we called on Friday and they said it doesn't appear yet, on Saturday the app reflected the amount we paid on the transaction list but suddenly there was an increase in the credit limit from 27k to 52k something we didn't understand. We went to the Sandton store and they said there's an outstanding amount of 43.00 we paid it and the call center consultant said we should call on Monday. Today they are saying they have to correct the credit limit of 52k back to 27k before it can be closed after 5 days. That increase is their issue but they are making it ours, we will never use that credit limit if this is one of their tactics. We are done with it and want the account closed, instead we are given the run-arounds. Expected better from Woolworths if they really pride themselves with quality service.
I'm disgusted at the level of unprofessionalism and arrogancy shown by NDC. Claiming to represent their client Truworths they called in saying an amount was being owed for a certain account, couldn't even provide the account number in question. We went to a Truworths branch, even confirmed and received a letter from their legal department that the only account visible is the one which was PAID UP in 2011 and yet they still insist that there is another account opened and used in 2016. Really? So a person's id cannot detail all account active and inactive? WHAT MEDIOCRE COMPANY IS THIS! clearly not on the same page with the company they claim to represent. The harassment, the disrespect, the annoyance by Sheila and Nandipha without FACTS it's appaling.
