It is very unfortunate that I am having to take this step, but I have been given a run around by CMH Peugeot Umhlanga regarding my Peugeot model 3008 and after many months of having taken a patient approach, I am absolutely done now. I purchased a brand new Peugeot model 3008 some 4 years ago in 2018, and shortly thereafter another model 2008 for the family. The warranties expired after 3 years, but since then the model 3008 car has virtually permanently been parked at CMH Peugeot in Umhlanga with engine issues, despite it having only about 25,000 kilometers on the clock (due to Covid it hadnt been driven much). I was advised that I would need to order some special parts and finally received the quotation in my email on the 23rd 2022 (the quote is dated 4th April), to the value of R50,858.76 (+/- €3000), which I reluctantly agreed to, and so I duly paid and sent proof of payment to CMH Umhlanga on the 25th May. The parts arrived about 4 weeks later, and actually earlier than scheduled. I have since then been to the service station in person so many times that I lost count. I have also phoned endless times. And every time empty promises were made. The car would be ready by this and this day, etc etc. Not once, not twice, but many many times. Too many to count I have had to go overseas 3 weeks ago and thus followed up by email which has been totally ignored. I hence requested my brother in law to go to CMH Peugeot Umhlanga service station on Monday 12th and again, the promise was made that the car would be ready by Friday 16th. Again, no call nothing from CMH on Friday. So I requested my sister to call in again to enquire about the readiness of the car today, yet she was advised today that it wasnt ready because of loadshedding and another week was required to finalize repairs. It's enough now. I am deeply disappointed with the car and even more so with the service station CMH Peugeot Umhlanga. I deeply regret having purchased these two Peugeots. Besides not being able to use the Peugeot model 3008, it has cost me expensive services with CMH Umhlanga as well as the attached quote, plus the monthly car repayments to the bank. I just want out. This car is absolute junk and having to deal with Peugeot Umhlanga has been unbelievably frustrating. I want to be refunded for the Rand 50,858-76 for the parts and I want Peugeot to take the car back so I can get out of the finance agreement with the bank. I just want out! I hate having to take to social media like this, as I am also in the service industry and in general dont like it when people use social media as a weapon, instead of trying to solve problems together. However, I have been patient for many many many months now and there is absolutely no willingness on CMH Peugeot Umhlanga's part to resolve this issue with me in an open and transparent way. I am being lied to and taken advantage off on a level I have not ever experienced before. It's enough!
