My daughter has multiple sclerosis and had two relapses last year, one in early October 2023 and again late November 2023. In both cases she was referred to Drs Bloch and Partners for MRIs and in the second case an angiogram as well. In the second case the total cost was R11 400 of which the medical aid only paid R4 057, leaving an outstanding balance of R7 343. I paid R1 000 at end January, end February as well as March 2023. The threats of an unpaid account nevertheless continued. I made a call to Sandton Radiology accounts department and had undertaken to pay R1 000 per month until the account is settled in full. The lady I spoke to said the account is overdue and will be handed over for collection. I informed her that I do not have the funds pay the full amount but will continue to pay R1 000 per month. On 9th April 2024 I received an SMS from Landau Collections that will be proceeding with SUMMONS on my Drs Bloch & Partners account. I called Landau Collections and was informed I may make a payment arrangement with them and that legal costs of almost R600 will be added to the account. I then called Drs Bloch and Partners account department and requested to speak to a manager. The manager was "not in", but her email address was provided. I then sent Martina Pansi, Accounts Manager an email explaining my unfortunate situation. Her response was brief and rude; "Our company policy is that we do not keep accounts on our ledger for longer than a period of 90 days. In the event that the account remains unpaid at 90 days, it is handed over to our external Debt Collection agency, Landau and payment arrangements are to be made with them." with absolute no compassion. What a way to treat your customers fairly Drs Bloch & Partners.
I can't say enough about this business. Their service it outstanding and their meal boxes have the most delicious meals. There is such a variety of meals to choose from, even kiddie meals, deserts and lots more.
What a wonderful company to do business with. Karabo Comely Masindi from the Randburg branch assisted me with my order. She stayed in contact with me to update me on my order until the day of delivery. She was able to answer all my questions and very knowledgeable on the products.
