I am utterly dissatisfied and appalled by the service and management at Lash Revolution SA. On the 18th of November I went to Lash Revolution SA for a Volume Lash Set. When I was driving home I noticed that when I close my eyes I have pain and discomfort especially in the outer corners of my eye. When I woke up the following morning my left eye was bloodshot red and burning. I app**** eye drops that usually clears up redness in my eye. After my shower I noticed my eye was still red under the sclera. I contacted the owner (Nicole) and reported the matter. She then rep**** and said that the lash tech should be given an opportunity to fix the mistake. I also told her that I wanted Volume Lashes, but ended up getting Hybrid Lashes. She then justified this by saying I have a lot of baby lashes and that a lash tech is unable to apply a lash extension to a baby lash. I know this, because I am a lash tech myself. I was confused, because I confirmed with the lash tech while she was busy applying my lash extensions. I asked her if I have enough lashes for her to work with. She then rep**** by saying that I have a lot of lashes. And that I have a few baby lashes on my right eye, but she will be able to work around it. When she removed the tape and I opened my eyes, my left eye was tearing excessively. I wasn't too worried, because it happens. When I looked in the mirror I was satisfied with how the lashes looked, but I was disappointed because I wanted a volume set and not a Hybrid. I then paid for a Hybrid set because that is what I got. The lash tech then sent me messages justifying the mistakes she made and gave no acknowledgement to the fact that the lashes are hurting me or the redness and irritation in my left eye. I agreed for her to remove the affected lashes and re-apply them. She then suggested that the lashes be soaked off and then ask Nicole that I don't pay for the set. IE a refund. The next minute I get a message from Nicole saying that they don't do refunds. If she has to do a refund it will be a partial refund because they used stock. She also said that she wanted to review the lashes and have a look herself what the problem was before she would consider a removal or partial refund. This made me feel that she does not believe me or that I was being dramatic. I was not happy with that. She then said that if they remove my lashes, they will refund me, but I have to pay for a lash removal. Obviously I was not happy with that either. I ended up spending an entire day debating the matter with the owner Nicole. I then decided that the only solution for me would be to return to the place and have the lash tech fix the issue, as I had no other option. When I woke up yesterday morning, I discovered that it was glue on my eyelids that is causing the issue and my left eye still had redness. I then realised that the lash tech will do this to my eyes again, because she has not acknowledged what she did wrong. I did't want to return to the same lash tech that caused this issue. I told Nicole that I found the problem. She then continued trying to justify what had happened. She then started having comments about what type of person I am. This does not sit well with me, because I am a paying customer and I did not get the service that I paid for. It is one thing to be dissatisfied by the style of lashes, but it is unacceptable to pay for lashes that cause pain and discomfort. After this whole ordeal I am still stuck with uncomfortable lashes. When I message Nicole about my issues I have with the lashes, she continues to dispute what happened and who said what with no indication of a refund or a solution that would bring justice to this dissatisfaction. I have been wearing lash extensions for over a year and I have never experienced bad service like this. I am angry and disappointed with what happened. I have to now wear these lashes for the next 3 weeks. I feel that a refund should be done, because of the dissatisfaction and discomfort caused. Not to mention the unnecessary back and forth messages while trying to make her understand that this is because of the mistakes that the lash tech caused. I would not recommend this institution to any client wanting a set of lashes.
I just want to take the opportunity to thank Brits and Beukes Attorneys for solving my query in a fast and efficient matter. They really went above and beyond to get my claim paid out.
I had an accident on the 17th of June 2015. It was a struggle from the beginning to get feedback from this law firm regarding my case. After my case went to court, I got the first portion of my money. I had to phone the Road Accident Fund only to find out that the lawyers had already been paid. I received my first payout after calling them repeatedly. It is now time for my final payout. I called the Road Accident Fund. They informed me that they paid out the money on the 3rd of December 2024. I called Brits and Beukes. The lady who works with the claims informed me that the other lawyers paid them on the 11th of December 2024. The lady said that they were closed for December and only recently opened. She said to me that she has a lot of work and that she will get to invoice my file when she has the time for it. This was on Wednesday 15 January 2025. When I asked her today, she informed me that she is busy with other files, but my file is on her desk. This is completely unacceptable, as all the other parties involved had done their part already. It is a mission to get communication from this establishment and everything takes so much longer than it is suppose to. I am very displeased with Brits and Beukes.
