Pathetic disgusting service. Staff are always busy discussing personal matters when attending to a customer. The oldish fair Indian cashier doesn't bother to greet or say thank you. She literally throws your till slip at you and acts as if she is doing you a favour. The Manager is aware of her behaviour but it doesn't seem like he's the least bit bothered by it. This is not the first time something like this has happened with this cashier either. I was present previously when another customer was disrespected by her. The customer confronted the cashier and pointed out that she is always rude to her whenever she visits the store. The cashier denied this and showed no remorse for her behavior. A number of customers who were present at the time, agreed with the customer who complained. Unfortunately, the Manager was not in on that day. The Staff are in serious need of customer service!!
I am writing to commend your employee, Wayne. (Sorry, i didn't get his surname). He helped me enormously yesterday. Wayne had been to our building (Wearcheck House, Pinetown) to install Fibre. I was not aware that Wayne was around however, after hearing that I was having car trouble, he did not hesitate for a second to come over and assist me. Mind you there were many other people in the parking lot but no one stepped forward to help, except for Wayne. In this day and age, it is very rare to find someone whose actually willing to help another. As they say, "a company’s employees are its greatest asset", and on this note, I am sure your offices must be proud to have a kind and caring employee like Wayne.
Poor Poor Service!! I have been with Dial Direct for the past 3 years. My premium was set to increase to R954.44 from R820.83, from the end of October 2022. As i have been doing for the past 2 years, i wrote to Dial Direct requesting a review of the premium. As a "valued and loyal customer and due to my profile with Dial Direct", my premium was decreased to R829.70 which, is R9.70 more than what i have been paying for the past three years! I then obtained quotes from other insurers who quoted me much less than Dial Direct did and the excess was also cheaper. I wrote to Dial Direct acknowledging that various factors have to be taken into consideration when insuring a vehicle however, I inquired as to how so many other insurers provided me with lower premiums yet my insurer (who i have been claim free with for the past 3 years) cannot provide me with a better premium. A few days later i receive an entirely new quote from Dial Direct in the sum of R825.18! Firstly, I am an existing client and they provide me with a quote as if I am a new customer wanting to join. Secondly, the premium of the new quote is R4.00 less that what they had reduced my annual premium to (R829.70). How is this possible? I wrote once again to Dial Direct querying this and to date have not received the courtesy of a response!! I decided to secure an alternate insurer and called Dial Direct to cancel my policy today (17.10.2022). I dealt with a guy by the name of Daryl. I explained why i was cancelling my policy, and after acknowledging that they were wrong, he had the audacity to repeatedly tell me that i was leaving Dial Direct for R28 less than what i was paying with them! I certainly did not appreciate his condescending tone. Perhaps if they employed competent people to deal with queries and respond to emails timeously, i would not have cancelled my policy. It's the principle at the end of the day. If this is how a "valued and loyal customer" gets treated, then I am glad i am no longer going to be insured with Dial Direct.
The service I received from the l consultant, Jemima Muswamba, was very good. She was very helpful and friendly.
