I have not been working so I have not been paying my home choice account which I ended up being blacklisted for. I was then contacted by this company which promised to assist me with clearing my name. When the lady called me she told me about the once off R999 which I did pay and then after paying I received a call from another lady that works there and she told me that they can't help me pay the money ai was owing home choice but they can speak to them on my behalf and ask them to lower my debt. She then sent me a contract which stated that I have to pay them Tandem debt solutions R3000 in installments so that they can be able to speak to home choice on my behalf. So the R3000 is on top of the R999 which means in I full I would have paid them R4000 for just lowering my debt of R1700. When the lady called again the one who sent me the documents I then told her that the 1st lady did not state that I will pay another R3000 on top of the R999 she then responded and said please allow me to go and listen to the recording. Luckily my phone records call I then listened on my own and she 1st lady on the call did not state about the extra R3000 she then called me the second day in a rush and asked that did I tell you that the R999 excludes the service fee. I just responded yes to everything she was saying that day because I did not have a clear view of what was happening I just thought she was speaking about the once off R999. So I told the second lady that I will not be able to go ahead with the deal and she just said okay and did not return my R999. The first lady's name was Khululiwe.
