The little fibre box stopped working, I phoned MWeb and they am now telling me this box belongs to me and want me to pay between 1500 and 1750 call out fee, when I moved houses and I was told I need to leave the boxes at the previous premises as it belongs to Metro Fibre. So now that the new box stopped working I am told that this box belongs to me? And therefor I need to pay this amount. Why am I paying a monthly fee. Can I then have a replacement box as, if what you are saying is the boxes I needed to leave at the old house then as it belonged to me?? Sort out my internet or I am canceling this contract and no I am not paying anything.
I took over a Cartrack contract in Jan 2023 to help a friend. Was told to pay an additional R200.00. Which I did and had to then take out a new contract. No debit orders was missed. Now 17 months later I keep getting emails and WhatsApp messeges to say that I am behind. I phoned them was told I missed a debit order for June, Which I did not. All information was send through. This is also after making a manual payment on the 1st of July and on the 2nd the debit order went through as normal. So I am actually a month in advance. I am however receiving daily emails claiming that my account is in arrears. Please sort this out!!!
Went for their famous fish platter special. First of all I found a piece of scourer in my fish. The waiter apologised, the manager came and he said that they clean the plate with this where they cook. All was good. He repaced my food, the second meal came and with my first bite af calamari, there was something odd about the calamari. I took it out of my mouth, it was a little piece of I think cardboard or newspaper. It had black writting on. The manager was shocked and called the owner, a old man. When I told the old man what happened, he made a liar out of me. He was so rude!! Saying that they do not use scrourers. He then walked away gosipping about me to other client all sitting in the smoking area. They all looked at our table, you could see them also talking about me for complaining. After this rude old man had a mouth full. I have been a loyal customer for years just by the way. They will never see me again. For the way I was treated mostly nothing else, I have on occation found a hair, or have had coffee and then the milk is off. They normally apologised and replaced it. The manner in which I was treated this time shocked me. To be honest your fish tasted like rubber.. Not like fresh fish. Your coffee is disgusting. One of my guests from the UK ordered a double espresso last weekend. I took her for breakfast to my favourite restuarant( not any more..) It was served in a normal cup, the strength of a weak cup of coffee, my mom had a toasted chicken and mayo there three weeks ago. This also tasted off.. Instead of gossiping about your customers remember who pays salaries and keep your doors open.. Your customers... 😠
