Booksy app review system flawed and useless
I made use of this app to make appointments for beauty treatments because it has a review section. This creates the illusion that it is more reliable. However, after having had a bad experience at a salondiscovered that businesses acan simply block a client when they have had an issue. This means the review system is flawed and unreliable rendering the app useless for consumers booking based on reviews. It is unfairly biased. I will no longer be making use of this app and would recommend that anyone using the reviews be careful because it is unreliable and an unrealistic representation of the businesses. They confirmed that they will not do anything from their side to allow me.to.review even though I have proof on my bank statement that I was at the salon. I paid R720 to Pure Gem Nails.The salon marked my appointment as a no show thereby blocking any reviews. Booksy is protecting their client but not taking the consumer into consideration.

Booksy app useless - Pure Gem Nails awful service and unethical practices
I received very bad service from this business. Whilst the lady was doing my nails I pointed out that there were bubbles between my nail bed and the tip. I asked her twice to remove it. She ignored me. Less than 12 hours later nails lifted from the bed. I messaged her to please refund or fix nails. She simply blocked me. I had booked via the Booksy app and the salon simply blocked me on the app so I am unable to review. This is appalling and extremely dishonest. I caution anyone wanting to make use of this salon. Arrogant and unethical. Poor service and a total waste of money and time. My friend also had her nails done after me and they also look terrible. Worst salon I have ever been to. Disgusted by their attitude toward clients.
