I was unfortunate to have to deal with this social worker. She practices under her company Name Standard procedures were not followed. I was only able to contact them via mobile number from word of mouth reference which is not good. One is not able to walk in and services are not available in case of emergencies for children. Once services was rendered it became evident that fictitious case numbers were provided which actually slips through the justice system if not challenged. Be careful of this service provider. Report irregularities to the SACSSP immediately, do proper enquiries on their methods which I was able to determine is outdated and easily copied for people to use in unethical preparations for their cases. This provider participates in unethical practices by actually providing me with the assessments and motivation to prepare for in advance. This is unethical and should be reported to the South African Council for Social Services Professionals. Only after using this service and dealing with professionals in the legal system did the information become available that this provider uses unethical strategies which I have experienced personally. I was also not provided with the necessary information and proper policies and procedures were not followed. Stay away from professionals like this. Stay away from professionals that commit fraud and do not follow policies and procedures as was evident. It's tedious to challenge and report unethical practitiomers but worth it in order to protect others. Do not just accept the findings they submit, people like this Mrs van der Merwe actually just misleads the courts and they fall for it. Fight for your children and this corruptness! Start with the SACSSP.
