I don't think they know what's going on in their own business. Got a voucher for them, which I was told can only be used online and not in-store... Which makes no sense. Tried their online store and made a purchase over a week ago. (PS They are more expensive than Takealot) I waited over 7 days for my order to be delivered when their system says it takes 2-5 days for delivery. After I put in my order number for tracking, it showed "No information" and when I called them they told me they never processed my order. So after 7 days of waiting, nothing happened and only once I called them did they process my order. They wouldn't let me collect in store and even after waiting already, they wouldn't expedite my shipping... meaning I had to now wait an additional 7 days before my order get's delivered. Having to wait 14 days for my order is just stupid, considering I live 30 minutes from their physical shop. Just stick with Takealot or Loot, you'd be much better off.
From everything I heard on Hello Peter, I honestly expected better. Even after we had bad experience, I expected more from the "friendly" team and hoped they'd at least make right with me but sadly, no.... We rented a car from Woodford 2 months in advance... I called the team a week before the collection date to confirm everything was in order and that my car would be ready, then again a day before to ask if I should make all the payments in advance to speed up the process. I was assured that "I don't have to worry, my car will be ready and the payment process is quick" - We had an appointment to go to and a really long drive so it was important everything was ready. Long story short, we arrived at their OR Thambo office at 8am, it took them 45 minutes to eventually assist me because there were only 2 staff members helping an airport full of people. Once we arrived at the collection point, I was told that my car is not there because it was already rented by someone else.... Even though I rented it 2 months in advance and followed up multiple times. They eventually found a replacement vehicle for me but I had to wait another hour for it.... This company made me 2 hours late for my appointment and they did not care... When I told their "MD" who apparently cares all I received was "Sorry" When I received the vehicle nobody did an inspection with me, nobody showed me around the car, I was given the keys and asked to leave to make space for other customers. After arriving at my destination I realised the vehicle they gave me was damaged. I called them and spoke with the MD and sent photo proof that the car was already damaged. The MD assured me that I do not have to worry because they will resolve it. As you probably already guessed, when I arrived to drop the vehicle off, they accused me of the damage and made me fill out an incident report form even after I explained to them what happened. The reason they blamed me was "Nobody could find my quality control form that was supposed to be filled in the day I received the car". Last nail in the coffin was them taking my from my credit card without an invoice and without prior authorisation. Horrified that someone can just take money from me without my consent.
