After reviewing the ratings and complaints about Assupol on HelloPeter, I am not surprised by the poor service this company provides, and I have serious doubts about receiving any assistance. To anyone considering taking out a policy with Assupol, I strongly advise against it unless you are prepared to take out a loan for funeral arrangements. They do not honor their promised 24-48 hour waiting period for claims. It has been two weeks since I submitted my claim to Assupol, and I have yet to receive any funds or communication. As a result, I had to take out a loan to cover some of the funeral costs. I also plan to share my complaint across all social media platforms. Honestly, even the one-star rating they currently have does not accurately reflect the level of service they truly deserve. They even removed my complaint without providing any assistance. My next step will be to file a formal complaint with the National Financial Ombud Scheme (NFOSA) and Sanlam.

After getting his number, I submitted my claim via WhatsApp, and within 24 hours, my claim was approved, and I received the funds. Thank you, Sopema, for keeping your promise. This was my second claim, and I've never experienced any issues with you. Your agents are always willing to assist, regardless of the query. I would definitely recommend you to friends and family.

It has been two weeks since my sister submitted her claim with Assupol, and to this day, she has not received any funds or communication. Meanwhile, I made my claim with Legae Funeral Home (also known as Sopema), and I received my funds within 24 hours. My sister, however, is still waiting, and she had to take out a loan to cover some of the funeral costs. I also plan to publish my complaint on all social media platforms. Honestly, even the one-star rating you have doesn't reflect the level of service you truly deserve.
Telkom your agents a really useless. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. On the 11th of Nov I logged a cancellation on an contract that expired in October but it's still working (don't know how) since I didn't get any confirmation regarding my cancellation I then decided to log it again on the portal, on the 24th of Nov. When I check this morning it has not been cancelled and new data was loaded. Called again and your agents told me that there was no cancellation logged on the 11th, only the Cancellation logged on the portal is reflecting. Reason for my cancellation is because I have already went with another ISP and I was avoiding being billed by two different ISPs
