This is a follow up to my initial review regarding Sanlam's *****. Robson Savage have still not responded to my emails. It has been 7 days now.
I have a Provident Fund claim query that was raised with Sanlam more than a year ago! In July 2020 Sanlam short paid me when I claimed against my Provident Fund. I only discovered this in 2023 when a Registered Accountant brought this to my attention. I contacted Sanlam and was met by a great deal of resistance and eventually resorted to Social Media in order to get their attention. It is only at this point where I received correspondence with regards to my complaint. I was contacted by a lady named Marsha who advised that I needed to provide evidence (in the form of a banking statement) in order to have my query resolved. I indicated to Marsha that this would not be possible, as the account from which the said banking statement was to be drawn had been closed 3 years prior. Marsha then very rudely informed that this was not her problem and that there was nothing she could do if I could not provide the required "proof" that Sanlam had paid me any funds. I then asked Marsha how a business entity as big as Sanlam could not have any records of such important transactions. She responded: "We just don't have it!". After this, she blocked my emails. I then visited my bank and was informed that they would infact be able to retreive the banking statement that I needed. However, I would have to pay an amount of R200 in order to get this retrieved from their "archives". I paid this amount and duly received the said banking statement. I attempted to contact Sanlam in order to inform them, but was once again ignored. A few weeks later, I resorted to social media again, within a short period, I was contacted by Masego who apologised "for the delay" in resolving my query and assured me to resolve it effectively. True to her word, Masego contacted me the following day and confirmed that I had indeed been short paid and that an amount of R115 000 was owed to me by Sanlam. She further advised that the said amount would be paid to me during that week. This was around September 2024. The problem, however, started when I enquired with regards to the interest that the R115 000 had accrued over the then 5 year period since I had been short paid by Sanlam. Masego advised that it would be calculated and that I would then be paid after such calculations had been concluded. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN! Instead, Masego changed her tune, stating that the system had made an "error" and that the only reason such funds had reflected under my profile in the first place was because the profile had not been "closed" after I was paid out in 2020. When realizing that I way not buying into this lie, she changed her tune again, stating that it was in fact Robson Savage who had been appointed as the new fund administrators at the time when my claim had been paid out. This - according to her - had occurred in May 2020, two months prior to my claim. I then requested that she provide me with evidence of how much (out of my funds' worth) had been transfered over to Robson Savage. She did not do this, but instead opted to block my emails just as her colleague Marsha had done!! When attempted to contact her again about a week later, I was met by an automated email response stating that she had gone on leave. This was more than 6 months ago! About 2 weeks ago I decided to contact them via social media again. I then received an email from Marsha Wildschuldt which contained the contact details of one Sheila (from Robson Savage) who was apparently the individual tasked with resolving my query. However, upon emailing Sheila, I received nothing but an automated email response stating that she was no longer employed at Robson Savage and that I should contact Phakamani. Upon doing this, I was received a second automated email response stating that Phakamani was also no longer employed at Robson Savage and that I should instead contact a certain Themba. It has been more than 5 days since I emailed Themba, and I have not received a single response from him!! PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS MY THAT I WILL NOT GIVE UP UNTIL SANLAM PAYS ME WHAT THEY OWE ME!!

About 2 weeks ago I decided to contact them via social media again. I then received an email from Marsha Wildschuldt which contained the contact details of one Sheila Manditha (from Robson Savage) whom was apparently the individual tasked with resolving my query. However, upon emailing Sheila, I received nothing but an automated email response stating that she was no longer employed at Robson Savage and that I should contact Phakamani M. Upon contacting Pha***ami, I was met with the same automated response stating that Phakamani was also no longer working at Robson Savage and that I should contact Themba Mahlale. It has been 5 full days since I contacted Themba and I have received no feedback whatsoever!! Please note that this is only a summary of the events pertaining to my ordeal with Sanlam. I have got email correspondence, telephone call recordings as well as Twitter (X) correspondance to back everything stated above!! I WILL NOT GIVE UP UNTIL I RECEIVE WHAT SANLAM OWES ME!!
